Agreed I would be voting no as my average is 1.35, even though I cant see his offer going that high, but I can live in hope !! Totally agree with your other post, lets put in a 2 million pound exceptional cost (you can give it me back later, hint hint) and let the share price drop and then a week later he wants to takeover the company, very suspicious indeed good business sense for him maybe not too great for us. Time will tell.

another disappointing year holding eXpansys, I think its time they brought in fresh blood to boost the company, some have had far too long in trying to make this profitable.

Completely agree would be very happy with slow and steady but like yourself suspect large movements in both directions as we have seen in the last year, but thankfully the general direction is upwards and long may it continue. Fundamentals are good and its in a growing sector, my personal belief is the building sector will have good growth for the next 3 or 4 years with best years being 2014 and 2015. So hopefully should be in for a nice share price increase over the next four years. Another thing I like about ALU is that for a Fledgling company it has a very good dividend yield, and again one I believe they will increase over the coming years. All in all a great company to be involved with, not trying to ramp just think it has good prospects. Cheers PP

Welcome to nice and steady share, should reach 40p but maybe in a month or two or three, rarely does it make any large moves, and personally I don't want it too, just as it is suits me fine

I do hope that any manager/managers that allowed or was party to this 2.2 loss is no longer working for the company. With such low margin profits made we cannot afford to make any write offs never mind 2.2. million. Bod need to do some serious thinking or come next vote us pi's need to do some serious changing of the board (I do realise we would need Mr Jones help on this or does he for some strange reason not want the share value to increase)

They do seem to like there exceptionals, if they could make there way to start excluding these from there accounts we could finally start to increase the share price. Time will tell.

Agreed it might, but first I think they need a few bits of positive news to get this share moving again, but even then I think it will only move at a snails pace, which is fine by me as long as its heading upwards.

Thankfully sell off seems to have been overdone or like you said market makers may have wanted some cheaper shares and will now drift the price back up now that they have them. Cheers PP

Hi there been invested in here a couple of months, and think this could be a nice slow burner as its showing today with its 5 per cent increase. Do you have any predictions for the year or are we just hoping for a nice and steady increase. Or if it hits the radar a nice big increase ?

Good morning to you too, bad luck at having to do some work the bane of modern technology, you just cant escape any where. I too am a fundamental guy but will happily take information from any where I can if it helps my decision making, TA and fundamentals both have there merits particularly effective when used together. Will sit in either camp if it makes me any money. But I would like to be a bit more proficient in the art of TA even if there can be many interpretations. My personal motto is keep it simple but do it well. Going back to my question, it is a fundamental one and one I believe you would be interested in too , I don't mind giving out my email address unless that's not the done thing. Cheers ap

Always nice to hear someone else's thoughts and opinions about any share or company. Unfortunately my technical ability is no where near yours even though I do try and use Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD and occasionally moving averages I only use them to get a picture at the time probably more as an aid to selling (when I do get round to it) but I don't really know how to use them to look at any future time periods. Do these boards have a private messaging facility as I would like to ask you something without having to put it on the public board. Cheers PP

Thanks for the reply, wasn't sure if any one was still using this board. Personally I thought the price had bottomed out, and with the joint venture in Asia thought that would cancel out the shortfall of European orders. The board do seem positive that growth would resume in 2014. Your right it is possible to get more negative news but I thought this could be a good starting point for a bit of a recovery. Didn't the guy in the factory also say the basics of the DD were complete (engine, frame etc.) it was just the finishing touches to the design that needed completing. Would be nice to know when the first tester will be ready to view, no reason to me why it cant be sooner rather than later.

I think Glen Saint said the launch should be from the end of the first third of next year. So I think allex is correct at April and onwards

After the recent rise there could even be a small retrace, I hope not, but long term this will continue to go up and up and hopefully more up.

Didn't we have a similar problem last year with interims/trading update, I think they announced the interims and about a month later there were supposed to be announcing a trading update but they didn't bother and when quizzed about said we have just announced the interims and there are no changes so there is no need to make a further announcement. Looks like its January then, thanks for the info Dcdan, the suspense is killing me !!!!!

The new distributor in Australia looked positive, with winning initial orders even though it does move into vagueness like it did at the AGM with its further comment of 'Further sizeable orders are expected in 2014 through our dealers in Australia.' They do seem to like to promise us good orders, and if they do happen not tell us about them !!!!. Certainly the best RNS we have had for quite some time. Are we round the corner yet, that I don't know but things are looking much better and long may it continue. Bring on the double decker will be nice to see the first pictures.
