Indeed muscorum, and this is a point that is sometimes overlooked in discussions. In order to sell hydrogen as a separate product, for any purpose at all, the company needs to employ PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) equipment to extract and purify they hydrogen from the syngas. This equipment cost in the region of £5M, so there is a very significant additional cost in going down the hydrogen route. Clearly, if they go down this route, they will want to sell the hydrogen at the highest possible price, which is most likely as a fuel for vehicles.

Does anyone have a view of what is meant by "logistical reasons" in yesterday's RNS:

350kw, that's a lot of oomph!
But it still takes half an hour to fill up the "tank".

If it can hold its own today of all days, just think what it can do after the CV panic is off, and the orders start coming in!

Just picked up on another point in your post muscorum. Adam Bond said that W2T had not asked for the order to be completed. But the fuel cell was intended for the prototype at Thornton Park. That is PHE's baby, and has nothing to do with W2T, so I don't know why AB said that.

muscorum: I believe that what David Ryan told you makes sense. The fuel cell was intended for the prototype at Thornton Park. It's fairly clear to me that it wouldn't have been viable to buy a fuel cell for the prototype because it's vey small scale, they would have had to also buy or lease a PSA system to purify the hydrogen, and of course the prototype was never going to run 24/7, so the amount of electricity that would have been generated would never have paid for the fuel cell plus the PSA system.

Much cheaper to use a standard gas generator, which I believe is what they are doing, to supply electricity to the local micro-grid.

EIS also stand for Enterprise Investment Scheme (Tax Relief) but I don't know why that would stop PHE from selling its technology in the UK. Where did you come across this muscorum?

Now that sounds like a very sensible idea. Although 50KW isn't all that rapid. I think that in the Netherlands they go up to over 300 kw in some places.

That was immediately after trading opened. And at 1.625p! It's shown as a buy, and at that price surely it must be right, but I don't know what the actual spread was at that time.

I believe that it was the delay in getting the planning permission through that caused the delay in issuing the shareholders' circular regarding the W2T takeover. I am hoping that we now have a clear road ahead.

I hope we'll get a timeline from the company shortly.

Muscorum, I watched the committee meeting and heard one of the councillors say that during a site visit the other day they noticed that the ditches were full of water but not over-topping. I assume that indicates that they are clear.
