@Kapkina: Capex for the basic unit to produce electricity only, using the syngas and a gas generator, has been estimated at £5M. Although KA did say that the first unit would undoubtedly cost more up to £6M or even £8M but subsequent units would cost less than that. And if more than one unit is installed on one site, then presumably there would be economies of scale so the cost of each unit would be less.
To produce hydrogen at a purity suitable to be used as fuel in electric cars using fuel cells, additional equipment would be required with an additional capital cost of £5M bringing the total up to £10M. Some of the reports and documents that I have seen can be a little bit unclear and need to be studied carefully.
