Thanks stokey. Yes, I was actually aware of both the points you raise, I should have made that clear in my post.

I'm surprised you still haven't figured out what W2T's involvement is.

David Ryan said they are looking at 24 other sites as well. So once they get the first one up and running, there will be lots more to work on, in the UK and overseas. He also said that they expect to complete the financing for sites 2 and 3 while they are constructing site no.1.

9889: Why do you think that Pel have taken over? I have seen no suggestion of that. There is a collaboration agreement among three companies, with W2T, Peel, and PHE. W2T are still involved, but I'm not clear as to whether Peel are putting up their own money for a share in the SPV, or just using their position and influence to support the project.

I don't believe that is the case 9889, I haven't seen any evidence of that. The RNS states that PHE has "... entered into a collaboration contract with Peel Environmental and Waste2Tricity Limited to seek to develop a minimum of 10 further sites in the UK for DMG® facilities, in addition to the previously announced project at Protos Energy Park."

So it would seem that the collaboration agreement involves both Peel and W2T, for the first DMG unit and also the subsequent 10 units.

Well that's my take on it anyway.

I must admit I'm not 100% clear exactly what involvement Peel is to have in the first DMG installation, and subsequent ones. But in his interview with Andrew Scott on Proactive, DR stated "Peel will take an active financial engagement in the first project, the Protos development." Now I take that to mean that they are taking a share in the SPV that is being set up by W2T i.e. in partnership with W2T, and I imagine that probably means that Peel will be providing half of the funding required to build the unit and get it up and running, with W2T having to find the other 50%

Is that the impression that others on this BB also have? And that Peel will be similarly part funding the subsequent 10 DMG units?

98889: David Ryan stated that the company is funded up to implementation of the first project. So it is not short of money, and it's getting paid for engineering work and testing feedstocks.

Bear in mind that PHE is not funding the capital cost of building the DMG units.

If someone manages to buy at a price lower than mid price, then the system automatically puts a "sell" flag on it.

Hi Gadams, simply because i his discussion on Proactive on 18th July when asked by Andrew Scott if he was going to issue an update soon he said he would issue an operational update "at" the AGM (I assume he meant just before the AGM). I didn't really regard todays RNS as an operational update as it only advised us of one particular item, so that's why I'm still expecting something more.

But of course, I could be wrong - I often am!

I don't think that todays RNS is the operational update that DR was talking about recently on Proactive, so I'm expecting another update perhaps on Wednesday morning.

jgbb, I would hazard a guess that we might see the first commercial DMG unit in full operation by about the middle of next year, hopefully sooner, but that is just my own opinion at the moment. Perhaps someone can ask the question at the AGM, but I expect DR will be laying out his own timescales.

It's interesting to note that last year the AGM Statement / General Update was issued five minutes before the AGM opened. Of course it may not be the same this year.

He has already said the he will give an update for the AGM, which probably means on Wednesday morning, perhaps just shortly before the AGM is due to start.
