Fair point Bumble, perhaps I'm being a bit unfair to him, it's just that I don't recall him being at all prominent at that time.

Reading through the Final Results RNS again:
"Announced the future development of the first site by Peel Environmental ("Peel") and Waste2Tricity ("W2T") at the Peel Environmental Protos Energy Park in Cheshire;"

Does this suggest that W2T and Peel are in partnership regarding the SPV that will fund and develop the first DMG unit at the Protos Site? Or am I misunderstanding what is being said here.

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't. If my recollection is correct, he didn't do a great deal when he was chairman of AFC.

Tim Yeo used to be chairman of AFC, and was also an MP and minister. So he knows the system. Perhaps he should write to the govt. committee.

"...a planning application for the development of the plant at Ellesmere Port is expected to be submitted in June 2019. Subject to planning approval the plant hopes to be operational early next year."

Well, if it's to be submitted in June, then that is, well, now! So if it hasn't actually happened yet, I'm sure it will be nearly there.

They weren't seeking to include future revenue in the accounts, they just wanted to be able to put a note in the accounts with details of the completed deal. But they can't, because it hasn't been completed yet.

RNS 23rd June:
"Further work, preparatory to a well test, is underway as we go to print."
Presumable the preparatory work referred to is this section in the schedule per RN 3rd April:
"Installation, Testing & Commission of Equipment"
which was due to start on 17th June and take 10 days, prior to flow testing. Do we know if this has been completed, or alternatively, do we know that it has not been completed?

Smelling a rat is all very well, but so far I haven't seen anyone posting any evidence, or even explanation, for why they are saying that they are not on track per the original schedule on 3rd June. Can someone please explain this, smelling rats aside.

RNS 3rd June:
" well testing can commence to ascertain whether commercial hydrocarbon flows can be achieved from the BRX4Z well as envisaged per our timetable of 3 April."

Why is it being suggested that they are not on track?

I thought flow testing was due to start yesterday, so why this talk about them missing the schedule? As I read it, the schedule had installation and testing of the equipment to start on 17th for 10 days, the flow testing to start on 27th. Have I got that wrong?

No problem, the DMG unit can handle rats as well!

Stokey, they may be getting grants, but as I said earlier I believe that they are also being subsidised by Shell. They have an arrangement with Shell to provide a hydrogen distribution point at some of their stations, so Shell will presumably be buying the hydrogen from ITM at an agreed price, i.e. at a price that will give ITM some sort of profit, then Shell will be selling the hydrogen to the motorists at price that will probably be roughly equivalent to metro or diesel. So Shell will be making a loss on it at the moment, thereby subsidising ITM.

Well that's my take on it anyway.

Good news. So things are moving ahead albeit slowly. Hopefully now we will see progress towards bringing the replacement for diesel generators to market in the not too distant future, but probably not this year.

It's all the talk of commercialisation that frustrates me, BumbleB, and then all goes quiet. What progress on the small units to replace diesel generators? Surely the market would jump on these if they were made available. So I don't expect them to be able to produce several thousand of these overnight, but surely we should at least be told what progress there is, and when they are expected to be available to the market.

After everything that was spoken about at the AGM, surely there must be something that is worth updating us on. I know they have just issued an RNS about the vehicle charges, but even then they don't give much detail and give a rather vague timeline.

You are right, and when I said a serious competitor I wasn't suggesting that we ought to be worried about it. There will be enough business for both of us, and more.

I'm not sure how much it costs ITM to produce hydrogen, and I don't know how much they are selling it for (to Shell, I presume). I know that it's their intention to use renewable energy to produce the hydrogen, but I suspect that will still be coming through the grid rather than having their own solar or windmill at each service station. And I also believe that Shell is subsidising them initially by selling to the motorists at petrol/diesel equivalent prices.

Incidentally, I believe that ITM have a hydrogen delivery point at Hatson in Orkney, where they really are using renewable energy from the windmills to produce hydrogen.
