Oh yes, Southerhay, I remember "Tomorrow's World" vey well indeed! We were all going to have 2-or3-day working weeks, and our greatest problem would be what to do with all our spare time! They omitted to mention plastic mountains and climate change!

I sent an email to UKwin explaining that PHE's DMG process is not incineration, and that environmentalists ought to give their technology every support rather than opposing it. When they reply I will let you know what they say.

Some reporters are really very bad at doing piss-poor research before banging out stupid reports. See a lot of that these days. Careless and lazy.

I thought I’d do a recap on recent statements made by David Ryan:

At Master Investor Show 6 April 2019:
- We will be constructing this year and proving the process this year.

On Vox Markets 18 April 2019:
- We intend to be building and putting equipment on site before the end of the year, and proving the commercial position of the gas at the end of the year or early next year.
- Next milestones:
- Test some of the feedstocks that we will be getting and confirm that we can make energy from these non-recyclable plastics.
- Who we choose as our initial development partner and build contractor for this first site.
- The Toyota dialogue is ongoing.

Presentation at World Waste to Energy Summit May 2019:
- Planning and permit and FEED to follow next month (i.e. June)
- Planning permission expected in September
- EY exploring pipeline of project funding for UK (i.e with W2T)
- Agreements for power and plastics are in place (i.e. with W2T)

Makes sense!

I have to admit that it sounds rather ambitious to me, but here's hoping.

Just found David Ryan's interview with Justin Waite on 18th April, when he said:

At the UK Investor Show on 30 March, Bruce Nicholson (W2T) said that they hoped to build th first full scale unit this year, but I can't remember what David Ryan has said about timeline recently.

I'm more excited about the potential for producing small scale off-grid generators to replace diesel generators, than I am about chargers for EV, because I'm sure there is an immediate and bigger market for off-grid generators than for charging electric cars right now. All we need is for AFC to get these things to market asap.

Also, BumbleB, I seem to recall someone (either Keith or David) saying that they could vary the percentage of hydrogen to some degree by adjusting the operating temperature and the quantity of steam. I thought at one point Keith said that they could get between 60% and 70% in hydrogen before putting it through PSA equipment, but I could be wrong.

I like this bit:
"Planning and permit and FEED to follow next month". Something to look forward to.
But not so keen on this bit:
"Planning permission expected in September" because I was hoping for sooner than September.
And I hope they manage to bottom this bit out very soon: "EY exploring pipeline of project funding for UK"
