i have looked at it in detail prior. much i agree with in the medium term.

but if i understand Dspp's calc correctly (happy to be corrected) it is the 2C value which you (and others judging by the tick-ups) being recognised in the mcap prior to foil.

positive as ever i note - i think the phrase is we travel in hope...(perhaps i am more hopeful than you regarding pmo ability to sanction / fid).

i have been travelling today so only looked at trades every now and then. it seamed to me there was a steady buyer of good sized lumps and volume today was high compared to normal, but its normally low, so what does that tell us? good movement on pmo also (but as a reaction?). most oilers up but by normal good day movement (3% or so).

news due or just intra day momentum.

any offer for a buy out would (in my opinion) need to be at a price far higher than current SP due to both locked in PI's (for many years) and more importantly II's who have held from far higher SP's. i think the chance of an acceptable T/o offer is slim at best. but you never know!

Interested to understand why you think 70 to 80p (I.e. mcap undiluted of some £1.7bn). What drives the valuation increase?

i stated why i sold at close to the peak and why i did not buy back into hur late jan / early feb (having got an earlier rise). nothing more to add to that matter.

i respect you decision to hold and i would not seek to change that view or indeed others who similarly hold. but investing is about making money and trying to understand the dynamics is a large part of that. currently a large number of oilers are well up year to date - reflects oil price largely with some change of ii investment sentiment (in my view).

so to your comment about is it worth holding hur currently - i think not. that does not make it a bad investment, simply i see better options at the current time elsewhere. hur is now one of the 10 largest listed oilers on the london market (does depend if you count some of the us oilers with secondary listings). i would put to you the sp now reacts in a far "calmer" manner than most aim oilers. that is why i do not believe the sp will react to much of the expected news - the AM sail away / foil being the ones i would think most likely to move the sp, but not by much..the rest is simply confirmations of progress..but equally i do not think any delay for example would hurt the sp too badly either. so to me it now "competes" on stability with the likes of cne etc..now i do hold cne by the way, so "stability" is one factor i look for in my core holdings.

as always each to thier own and i wish all investors well and GL.

regarding your comments on pmo..i am happy to discuss investments i have made / not made in hur but draw the line at providing further details of my pmo trades..it has no bearing on the hur investment case.

Suggest you research investment basics..and comparables in the market.
By the way, have seen no mention here over last 2 days on the upwards movement in Cne sp.. I know as fact several ll’s look at both as comparables.. Cne sp is, I would suggest, far more important to Hur sp than any offshore pre-foil ops ( unless it goes wrong which I do not expect)

Once again sipp I would suggest your lack of understanding of EV shows. Pmo have a large debt to equity ratio. This magnifies any oil price movement in Pmo mcap compared to say Hur mcap.

wellwell. i have posted several times one can read across for other quoted co's what is being priced in. not all will agree with me (whats new!). i would suggest the discount applied to post- foil trading position is now small (i.e. not much risk deflator priced in). so i think it is about the market valuation of the 2C volumes which is key (if that is what you mean!).

jolifant - i think your comment is spot on.

Seadog5 - just what was the rumour? i am fascinated to know. i read some comments on here on interpretation of the photos but nothing i saw would have warranted such a threat to be made. i am sure you can enlighten me (without of course stating fact in a way that puts you in the legal firing line).

the PB take up was rubbish..only a fraction of the available shares were placed.

mind you- with my spelling of the phrase you would only be 2 letters short...

sipp..i have declared on here where those places were (and wont do it again as i do try to avoid naming other shares other when required to illustrate a point). of course there are several posters on these BB's i e-mail / chat to on investment matters, including one who regularly posts here..contemporaneous records..(as well as my trading statements of course). so your clear implication i am lying is wrong. i do not claim to be WB or get every investment correct - i do not and have been caught badly several times when in hindsight is was clearly bad investment cases. so it is not about skills and far more about listening (and understanding) to both sides of investment case views .

oh its just like old times posting back and forth...... your memory is clearly a little questionable but never mind.. as i have stated several times i have missed out on the rise over the last 4 months, but the places i have put my cash have done better!

Oh that one! So a very clear and factually correct warning. Only posted as a result of insults - mainly from you sipp. But regardless anyone who acted on that warning ( and I know of two peeps who have posted here who did) are now better off than the peeps who held while insulting me! I try to always keep emotion out of my investment decisions.
