even if they do get the oil out of the ground (and they should from the portland at least), the cash goes to HHDL not UKOG plc...and SS salary has to be paid...have to pay for talent...(does he get paid as a director of HHDL by the way? as well as UKOGplc ... not checked)

I know of a case were the deal was signed and drawn on with no delay but that was for new production that went into storage that had a 6 month track record. My guess is deal signed and payment on off load. As it is a rolling credit facility bp may want to see some degree of consistency but I think not in this case- hence cash in bank within 48 hours of first off load. And you are correct - invoice factoring oil style! So each off load is paid for at time of load- good way of getting working capital funding. Given the general view Hur over committed cap ex And had to do the warrant issue one would expect rig confirmation would be after cash is in the bank. All my guess of course.

Extrader. I would be very surprised if Hur do not enter an off take finance agreement with bp - I.e. bp pay at time of loading and charge libor +x% interest per day until normal settlement date. Normal for many smaller oilers with the majors.

the risk i am referring to on the eps "value" is mainly the normal risk discount for capital projects - in other words there is a risk (large or small) some thing will go wrong / be delayed etc. so a discount would apply until the point of demonstrable outcome. i was not referring to FB risk. i have absolutely no concerns what so ever that hur "make it up"! (like burning diesel.....but as we know other oilers may do this!).

things is wellwell the 2p value can be calculated (either by reference to the company published NPV figures and extrapolation to current oil price). one can apply a risk value to this as one wishes. so the rest of the EV must be the 2C current value. now the question is what is the 2P discount or the 2c value? if one believes the 2P discount is small, then the sp would not rise pre-foil i would suggest. if large (i.e. the 2C is the bulk of value) then it will rise.

of course (in my view) one also has to note that as oil price rises the value of the 2C will also rise as it increases the chance of farmout..

most good companies only RNS news when its price sensitive news.

mintys statement yesterday contained no price sensitive news only a threat to undefined BB posters for undefined rumours / statements. i have seen this once before in recent years..same result.

we have debated the merits of pmo farm out (and rkh as part of that process?). i remain of the view a farmout deal is likely but my reading of pmo comments and more importantly the cash flow / creditor influence on pmo is that pmo do not have to do a farmout to sanction / fid. that is clearly a risk matter or the sp would be far higher! i would suggest the sp movement this year reflects the risk of not reaching fid is being perceived as reduced.
