Bah ! I had gone in a little heavy on ORM a month ago at 1.4. Lost faith and patience a week ago and sold at 1p to protect my remaining money. Just checked in to see this fantastic rally. On the one hand: dammit !. On the other hand - well done to the more patient holders. I knew there was a real opportunity here but just lost faith in my original decision. Good luck all.

Clear rebuild of the SP for a few consecutive days. I wonder if more people now recognise the potential here as governments look to put alert mechanisms in place for current and future health threats. And with commercial opportunities on three fronts there's likely to be positives not only in next Tuesday's presentation, but with a regular drip-feed of progress RNSs. 2021 could be a very exciting year.

Bet you didn't expect it in the 5s the very next day, cattleman. I'm not worried but just a bit dismayed/surprised to see this slumping to the 5.anythings given what's A/ going on in the world, and B/ the potential in N4P. When it's at in the low twenties buying now means 4-bags instead of 3.

This is a great BB - much more focused on the company/market and much less on bickering than others.

Anyway, I was just thinking. Invinity Energy has see a sustained rise over the last week or two. I know they're connected to Bushveld (BMN invested in Invinity ?) so if one is leaping up, should the other follow soon ?

@DanBaker - that's exactly why I'm invested here. The licence/partner model would be the most lucrative to N4Pharma, and the least risky to their partners; a classic win/win. On positive test results this would absolutely fly. And - you know - benefit society. Good for the wallet and the world. Another win/win !

From your understanding (or anyone else's), the scrip is a great thing on the assumption we're correct and the SP is headed upwards in a significant way in the near future (ie: 8% more shares at about 22p). People would only take the alternative if they want the cash now - is that right ?

Yes, the 20% tax is on the one hand convenient (not having to account for it on a self-assessment tax form) but on the other hand a bit of a pain when most PIs will be under threshold or in an ISA.
Quick Q: I haven't got a message from HL about the scrip. Re-invested in HMSO only in mid Oct 2020. I see the announcement from HMSO on 11th Nov references an announcement in August. Was there a deadline before which the scrip applies ? IE: Anyone know if you needed to be holding shares in (say) July to qualify ??? if not then I'll take it up with HL who lost a lot of kudos for me last week in the Pfizertastrophe,

I was committed on MNRG when I bought at about 1.1p - just before the placing. Obviously that dropped the price (damn, I wish I'd waited a couple of weeks before buying ! ) but added huge value to the business. I'm still 100% committed, and the recent support around 0.8p confirms we'll soon start seeing more consistent rises (never in a straight line, old boy !). I've seen it before in Eqtec and Valirx where a placing drops the SP for a couple of weeks and then the rebound takes it back up to previous range. And in Valirx's case, massively above. Happy days soon.

Anyone see why the SP has fallen 16% without any news ? MNRG has dropped (again !) but not a hug amount. I know ORM bounces up and down but that's a big drop out of the blue. Shake prior to incoming news ? Welcome others' views here.

Agreed 100%. I wonder if the two headwind challenges for DVRG recently have been A/ obviously the anticipated impact of vaccination versus rapid testing via the BT, and B/ combination of usual operating turmoil during M&A, and a more diverse company having a spread of priorities (ie: no clear singular statement of intent, which is fine for a big company but smaller businesses tend to specialise while DVRG is headed in three directions at once).
Like you, "Retireby40", I also think the real-time waste water monitoring is going to be the golden ticket. The infrastructure is in place so needs minimal additional expenditure, governments will want to demonstrate they've got their eyes open to health threats (incl Covid, even with vaccinations) so the budgets will be made available. The BT still has real potential (vax efficacy has yet to be determined; might need annual injections like tetanu$ so possibility of unprotected people in large gatherings and rapid breathalyser for major events could be mandatory).
If you're on the sidelines then now's probably the best time to get onboard with DVRG.

Looks to me like it's in response to recent vaccine announcements, to remind the investment world that N4P is potentially primed to ride as partners to other pharmas , and not mistake it as a "Covid stock". In other words, load-up, folks. Other companies may have had the wind taken out of their Covid sails (sales ?) but this one will be posting solid gains based on its commercial model.

I recall she had personal attachment to the work of VAL (and one or two others) so may have felt badly disappointed at the fall after such a positive RNS. I know I was - and I was invested early so still in good profit. But I do miss her technical insight and analysis of what Valirx is actually doing. It's one thing being invested financially - another thing to be invested with your values. Come back Grace - remind us why VAL is such an awesome prospect.

Completely agree with many sentiments on the board today including glebewhite. The market just reacted to Pfizer as though vaccine roll-out to a 7BN worldwide population would be near instantaneous. And without consideration for viral mutation or any other associated disease surfacing in the next few years. DVRG has incredible potential in its waste-water analysis and in the BT product to help governments and cities spot outbreaks quickly and so they can target resources to the right places. Still real potential in this holding.
BUT, what it does need is some positive news on progress. Detroit = great. Now, how about six more of them ? With another twenty in the (ahem) pipeline. It needs a couple of contracts to really wake the market up to DVRG's potential income.

Seriously amazed to see VAL back in the teens. Is this a ridiculous overspill from the Pfizer fall-out ? The market cap here is WAY too low to reflect the potential - and relatively near-term potential, too.

Similar. I sold my Avacta shares today on HL. Concluded the transaction. Back to My Account. Avacta still listed. So I sold them again. In fact I sold them four times. Might have made 100% of my money back if that counts as 4 real transactions. :-(

Yep. Spiky as hell on the intraday. But making all the right moves as a business, cash positive, and from here I'd expect a solid build in anticipation of news of its next selected gold project, described in the Interim Results nearly two months ago as an "exceptional resource opportunity".

@Dellboyvan - ha ha. you're certainly right there. My brilliant plan was to dip out of UFO, buy RR. on the basis of it overselling, ride the bounce up about 10-15%, and then get back into UFO before any more positive RNSs. 8ugger. :-) Certainly believe UFO has plenty more to come, so will be back in soon.

Here's a game for you. Out of my ten holdings, guess which one I sold yesterday to release funds to take advantage of the overselling at Rolls Royce ? Let me give you a clue. Today, four of my holdings have gone down (incl RR. at c9% so far). And UFO would have been, by a LONG way, today's biggest riser 12% (20% earlier today). Excellent move. Well done me. :-)
