Oh, and FWIW - I really think this is a great company to invest in. Very well led. Set up for commercial success. Finally shrugging off the shadow of the former CEO and setting a more positive brand reputation. And - and this is the best bit - with the potential to genuinely make a massive positive difference in the world; easing the suffering of those with endometriosis and with prostate cancer. There's a way to go yet, but who wouldn't want to be a part of that when it's bundled in a savvy commercial package !

I don't rely so much on technical analyses. Good research and a bit of a gut feel in this case. The Naked Trader has good advice: if you start feeling smug about a holding then it's time to sell. I was something like 5-bagged; the definition of smug. And I felt the bubble would burst on the announcement. It did. I'd sold some a day or two before, and sold some on the day at about 35p. Held a bit for the recovery once the next clinical trial approaches. I may have missed the peak price but came out very "up".

I should add, that this isn't my usual result. I managed it here and with UFO. But screwed up with N4P recently, selling WAY too early on the rise and missed the second day's 50%. Ho hum.

UFO overbought a few weeks ago. Oversold now. That momentum may actually continue and we could dip below 1p. But the interest in drilling early next year will make that a temporary concern. If you don't need the cash in the next couple of months then whether buying at 1p, 1.1p, or 0.9p will make relatively little difference, because the SP will go upwards significantly. Very happy to hold. May add if it slips further (but would require selling something else !)

Currently averaged at 12p, and took a load out at about 55p during the autumnal nonsense. I've got some cash ready and built a shortlist of companies to invest in. Then glanced at VAL and saw that after hovering around the mid 20s for a few weeks it's at 21.7p. Blimey !
If this dips below 20p it's a definite in my book; new leadership is making a massive difference to this company. Its SPVs aligned to each product tells you their intent to take each on its own merit and attract partners for joint venture in each line.

Thanks aandi - that's exactly what I'd picked up on. Classic case in the summer of doing diligent research, selecting the right stock. Then getting a completely unexpected broadside (court case), then being drawn to other bright lights. Should have stayed here. And that RNS looks very positive. Certainly the macro economics point heavily in EQT's favour. And that RNS suggests they're doing well at engineering the quarterly commercials.

Actually yes. Just re Norfolk95's post and then read your posting history. Either invest or don't. There's always risk. The researched responses here indicate it's very low in this case. Very promising outlook in recent trading statement. If the sales pipeline conversions have bee made (and continue) then this could be an interesting place to park your money. So either do that (and your own research) or go to another BB and troll somewhere else.

Yes, Sensibles - good question. Hilariously (but not really) I invested in EQT literally the day before that Aries litigation was announced. Thought I'd been smart waiting til after the placing. But damn. From what I can tell it appears to be a very strong case in favour of EQT. But good to ask the question, and I'd be interested in what others think.
Incidentally, I sold out of EQT again in Aug/Sept at about level with my purchase. Not looked again until today. Needless to say I regret selling !! Looks positive from the recent update RNS.

So a couple of points: presumably buying in now carries higher risk because it's as yet unconfirmed (from that ProactiveInvestor article posted earlier: "Helium One must first confirm the valuable gas deposits are indeed where the geologists believe they are. First, an exploration well will seek to achieve this discovery".
Don't mind this risk - just getting a sense of where we are in the timeline, and how far the potential upside is likely to be. From what I can tell from the article, annual t/o is anticipated to be around $95M USD. With costs at about $60M USD.
Much depends on future commodity price for helium, but if the calculation is based on today's price then turnover could well be quadrupled and profit even more-so if the commodity price returns to where it was 18 months ago (four times higher than today). And it was much higher than that at times during the last couple of years, so I'm not being crazy running those numbers.
It looks to be 2 years away 'til production, but this looks to be a really interesting company to invest in. Definitely on my shortlist.

And finally, pricing helium by weight must be really difficult. :-)

Yes, Casa, but you also on the 12th Nov posted on the RR board: "best stop debating this - its going down tomorrow - end off". It was at 90p that day. Next day it was up 4%. Within a week it was up 15%.

Let's all accept that our crystal balls aren't 100% perfect 100% of the time (I actually sold my RR after it dropped from 80 to 72. About a day before the Pfizer announcement. Curses !! Bought in again at 98). But please stop posting a negative stance without any evidence supporting your claim, and THEN buying in. Either you have a solid position to take, informed with some critical insight, or you really don't know which way to turn - in which case don't post such definite statements as the one above (and many others like it).

If you actually have anything constructive to add (ie: evidence supporting your continual criticism) then add it to the BB. Otherwise just stop. It's irritating. I could block you, but I live in hope that you'll actually add some insight that lends credibility to your opinion.

My research tends to be more about the fundamentals, the historic charts (coupled to historic RNSs) and a general review of the main competitors. Initial scan looks like this info is really helpful, and hopefully balanced as opposed to biased. Cheers all.

Thanks folks - I see a few very positive and encouraging views there, which mirror my own (hence me throwing my money in). I'm more after any angle of risk - what could prevent the market cap catching up with Largo's ? My opinion (not presented as fact, mind) is that we'll see somewhere between 30-60% increase in the next 6-12 months. Could easily be wrong either way. Just trying to gauge what might act as brakes.

Thanks folks. It's not dreadfully bad - I'd only invested about £1,500 (I start small and build as the SP increases) and have a relatively wide portfolio so no great shakes. In fact it's almost funny in that "dammit" kind of a way. Did similar with Rolls Royce a couple of weeks ago. Bought at 80. Sold at 70. Next day Pfizer announces vaccine and the SP leapt to £1.
Had others that timed perfectly (UFO bought at .9 the day before it leapt to 2).
Anyway, hope you all time your ORM deals better than I did. I'll continue watching from the sidelines, cheering on.

Hi all. Don't think I've posted in BMN before. First let me state my position. I've bought and sold BMN a couple of times. Managed to get in on the beautiful juicy low about 6 weeks ago. Genuinely believe this is a great medium-long term holder and have recommended to others. Anyway. Looking at the chart, we can see presumably the impact of Covid. A massive drop from .23 down to .09 in February.

So if the world in 2021 reverts to more business-as-usual than 2020's panic. And if Biden is likely to create a green stimulus. And in the last year we've seen European countries announcing significant funds to switch to renewables (with batteries assumed to be part of the proposition) then what would stop BMN escalating back to its January level ? Or even go beyond ?

I'm not ramping (or at least not intending to), I genuinely want to know what good, informed investors think with reasoned evidence (not "it'll be £1 by Christmas" BS). Cheers all.

Don't mind admitting my mistakes. Just wanted to share this with you because it's sometimes useful to bear in mind you're not alone riding the uncertainty of the AIM. I bought ORM on 22nd Oct at 1.3p. I'd done my research. Looked at the cash/debt/prospects. Usual diligence. Felt there'd be some good upside in the short-medium term; maybe 30-50%. Nice.

A month later and the SP is languishing at 0.9p. I'm down about 35% and started to convince myself that I'd missed something fundamental in the fundamentals. Then a couple of critics started making noises here on the BB, so I accepted the loss and sold. On the 22nd Nov.
Within 2 days the price was up at 1.5p.

And the moral of the story is: do your research sufficiently that you can trust your own decision. And then wait. Well done to everyone else who stood stronger than I did.

For me, it depends on how much growth you want, and in what timeframe. The SP got battered in March. Showed a speculative recovery in June, and then a long, slow descent during which there was the dilution to raise short-term funds. At the high-teens it was ridiculously oversold, but I think that represented the risk in light of Intu's departure. At current SP I think there's still a tremendous amount of upside to come, but it A/ might take a while and B/ is very unlikely to go to former levels. If Hopan's calculations are broadly right then it may be realistic to imagine we'll hit somewhere around 40-50p in the next year. At current price, that's 60-100% growth ??? Of course there are risks (you look like a seasoned pro at this) so let's say there's an unforeseen complication along the way that means we hit the brakes for a couple of months. That slows the SP to only half of that growth: 30-50%. In a year. Yes please. All IMO, of course. (makes note in diary for Nov 2021 to see how prediction panned out).

Kindergarten is perfectly valid (google it). :-) And you're probably right to wait for a more solid RNS communicating evidence about the deposits believed to be in the Alien's reach. You're definitely right to steer away from FOMO ! :-) Spelling pedantry aside, I guess the point I was making was that buying shares is never black and white; never a 100%/0% thing - there's always some risk to counter-balance the potential reward. And anyone should be able to contribute negative and positive evidence to the BB, without being hassled for it. in fact they should be applauded. Who wants to be deluded (one way of the other) ? That's a rhetorical question btw.

FYI Wolster - I always welcome a well-constructed criticism. It's absolutely critical to knowing about risk you may have overlooked. But HH makes a solid point - there's a lot of bitterness and haranguing taking place because of the funding placing and recent spike. Things are rarely binary (hence I never block another BB user) but comments tend to be wholly enthusiastic about a share or writing it off entirely. Let's benefit from each others' research.

And, on the spelling, there's credibility lost when posters can't distinguish between "there / their / they're", or "your / you're", etc.
