Absolutely sensational.......the three pronged RNS attack of a robust rebuttal to QCM lies, share buyback schemes and director buys is the best ninja move I have seen in a while from a FTSE.

I am more impressed every day from this BOD.......dare I say it, this share is becoming the bargain stock of the FTSE 250. DYOR

He/she is definitely shorting or sitting in the offices of QCM!

The good thing is their short position is fried either way but I would love if PI's could have more fun with them first!

A short position is a bet not an investment.....they are trying to manipulate the SP on a short term basis looking to attain short term gains. It is unfair on PI's and in a lot of people's eyes unethical but at the moment it is legal on the FTSE markets.
Also Hedge funds do not just short, they tend to always hedge the bet with a long position (dark arts). Hence the term hedge.

PI's now know there will be constant buying pressure on a daily basis from Jefferies which based on my experience is a gift to PI's. The SP can only go one way over the coming days and weeks - UP!

They only bought 500k yesterday and the SP went up 6%ish. Just another 29,500,000ish to be acquired from Jefferies and £25M by Equiniti :)

@Lending you make a fair point. However unfortunately for the many tenders I have been involved in with FTSE companies, ethics does not form part of the criteria. It is all about functionality, quality, integration with networks, service, price etc and the new criteria is sustainability.

If the product is leading edge, service is great, cost competitive then the contract is signed unless made in Iraq, North Korea, Russia etc. Also please note the board will be subject to sanction checks and PEPS checks etc on a regular basis. Given DT's response today and the on-going checks the BOD will be subject to from an ethical point of view I am not aware of any outstanding ethical questions?

DT will undoubtedly double down on their marketing efforts but ultimately the functionality and quality of the products will supersede anything else, I am personally not concerned about future pipeline. The leading edge new products released this year will be game changing in my view within the market - huge upside.

Companies will procure the leading edge products that protect their business from attacks (nothing else matters)...end of - FACT.

Companies that have existing relationships with DT will NOT be jumping ship based on Nonsense reports with no Evidence. They will ONLY jump ship if they are not satisfied with the products/service.

I will give you an example of 1000's I could have chosen......why are Apple product sales not close to zero given the many reports that are FACTUAL surrounding poor working practices in the countries where they are produced?? I rest my case.

I cannot stop laughing, the shorts are fried......I work in consultancy and if one of my consultants produced that $hit report they would have been sacked. It is genuinely the worst report I have ever read, not evidence based, no FACTS, NO INSIDE SOURCES, a DISCLAIMER on the first page that they cannot stand behind anything they have written. PI's must do their own research and not get brainwashed by NONSENSE. It is the equivalent of taking as gospel on this board a troll who spouts rubbish and has no clue what they are talking about.

Darktrace was established 10 YEARS ago, huge customer base, great revenues, no debt, great capital base for future acquisitions, amazing new products released this year etc etc etc

Not sure if all PI's are aware of of the dark arts of shorts......they are often hedged against a long position.

Check out Marshall Wace LLP position on ASOS.....nearly 3% early Jan shorted on ASOS. The ASOS share price has risen 65% in Jan........!

PI's need to focus on the FUNDAMENTALS of DT ONLY. Review their industry leading products and revenues, study the RNS's for trading updates.

Shorts come and go on all FTSE shares.....they will get burnt big time if they stick around and they know it......KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON....I feel sorry if any PI is impacted by a muppet report with zero substance or credibility. DYOR

Fully expect a positive update on Monday regarding revenues and further info on DT's new industry leading products.

Will be interested to see if the shorts reduce before Monday.......

Also please be advised PI's that if you check out Castellian Capital short tracker, you will see that there are at least 40 very reputable FTSE companies with short percentages greater than DT's. It is part of the game.....HOLD FOR GOLD and fingers crossed the 2 shorts get BURNT and do not jump like RATS that that they are before Monday.

Agree davebp......I am only interested in Wizz revenues/demand etc which validates the airline sector strength in 2023....they are a no-go share for me due to the regulator issues they have regarding complaints etc as well as debt levels.

How shares/MM's work.......there has been a recent rally on EZJ and the volume yesterday was exceptional.....we can get used to those volumes once we re-enter the FTSE 100 shortly :). Given the volume and rally over the last number of days we should have had circa 5% drop today.....but the revenues and profits reported by Jet 2 and Wizz means that will not happen today which is excellent. This is merely consolidation until we move again upwards on a significant trajectory.

The class clown fails to understand the basics. All key indicators across the airline sector have validated that budget airlines are an outlier to any mild recession. This is proven factually based on RNS results of load factors, ticket prices are materially up and yet consumer demand is HUGE, which is excellent.....the retail sector has been impacted i.e ASOS etc and again that is aligned to results in retail.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CLASS CLOWN...HE IS DELUSIONAL AND CLUELESS.

PI's should do their own research....study RNS results, profit forecasts, income generation etc.....all that underlines the TROLL WITH NO LIFE is clueless, delusional and desperate.....do not ENGAGE WITH THE MUPPET!
