Flow, covid stocks out of fashion. Expecting us to get battered for a few days this week whilst the wider market works out what is going on and we see more positive news about covid. To be fair, I think it’s going to be pretty drab until the 2021 results so let’s hope they’re positive.

New year, same old rubbish. Only consolation is that it looks like all covid test firms are getting a kicking. Praying for good 2021 results, praying!

I haven’t said anything about it in this thread. I’ve previously said what the SA doctors and scientists said that it is more mild. There will be unfortunate outliers (I hope you get better soon) but overall it is more mild. That’s in the data.

BYP agreed. We have no idea what has happened. For all we know the **** has hit the fan and sales have tanked. Probably not but who knows? They give us nothing, not a shred of information. I think it’s far more sensible to take a prudent view and expect the worst as it can only get better when they eventually announce something. I will be accused of deramping but it is just a cautious approach. Clearly haven’t won any new big contracts as you’d assume this would be an RNS (assume being the operative word). If we exceed expectations then great but some of the optimism on here looks a little far fetched.

21ATS - no one expects a daily RNS but nothing in arguably one of the best times for a covid test company (remember, that’s what we are until told otherwise) and announced nothing. Didn’t even get a Q3 update.

It’s not whining, it’s just an expectation for the board to engage with the market and shareholders. The performance this year has completely crashed a lot of sh’s value in this company and it’d be rather nice to understand why.

Absolute shambles, unbelievable missed opportunity this month. Not holding out hope for next year, why would they change? Oh well, let’s hope the FY21 figures are good and that something else gives us a spark. Onwards.

Poidster - that’s the Xmas catch up figures. The weekly figure has gone down. Of course any death is sad but 100 a day isn’t sufficient to shut down an entire country. Also, it won’t be every day for a year, you do realise it is winter (albeit it is so warm it feels like spring) and this won’t be the same every day throughout 2022?

In a perfect world but a) the government wouldn’t buy them anyway and b) they’re delayed by 6 months so have completely missed the boat of this surge.

Hopefully testing remains high from a ncyt sh perspective but great to see fewer deaths and people on mechanical ventilation.

DRB do you honestly think there’ll be a lockdown given what has gone on in the past few weeks? Boris will be out of his job if he signs off on that, not too mention the fact that omicron has been found to be much less severe, delta killer etc.?
No bickering needed here (seen a bit in other threads) but genuinely wonder what makes you think a lockdown will happen? I personally think there’s no chance but who knows?

As have repeatedly said, I am sh and since being here there’s been nothing but bad or no news.
1. The BoD are clearly deramping. How else do you explain us not capitalising on omicon? No RNS for over a month? How is that looking after shareholders? We’ve totally missed the opportunity to capitalise on omicon which, as stated a while ago, is a cold.
2. The old BoD said themselves testing revenue would drop off considerably, why would we think it wouldn’t? All the data suggests omicon is killing off delta and we will be treating it as a cold/flu from next year (again, what was stated here weeks ago). Silence isn’t good for market performance, yet we seem to love it.

BYP bang on. I find it odd how when something like that happens this board is full of “something happening” “MUST be an RNS tomorrow” etc. God I’d love it to be genuine but it’s so transparent. BoD will still be on holiday, probably in sunnier climes not giving a flying f about us.

OP, we wouldn’t RNS a billion pound contract so I think you’re clutching at straws expecting something from this. Next rns will be annual results and we’ve all got everything crossed for it!

There is zero chance of an rns. 2021 figures will be the next update and it’s anyones guess what they’ll be. Could result in a 30% drop or a 30% rise. They’ve been so quiet, literally one of us know what they’ve been doing or selling. Could be loads, could be be nothing. Fingers crossed.
