What is seriously worrying is that we’re just putting faith in some bastard we have never met. Look at what has happened at odx with their outgoing CEO on £0.5m a year. Ok they haven’t sold so that’s a key difference but could we be going down the same path? Perhaps they have no ****ing clue and it is just jobs for the boys.

Mr big - we all want that but is a 5-10% rise on a good rns (hahahah as if) any good after a 50% drop by the time we get them? We know results aren’t going to be materially different to forecast as they’d have to rns it so we are literally waiting on a good outlook from a company renowned for **** rns’ (lately anyway). Astonishing fall from grace yet again.
Fwiw m b/e is £4.73 so I’m well and truly ****ed. My own fault for thing that rise in November would go on and on (how foolish to think a covid test company would do well off the back of omicron).

It certainly does Val, ****ing light years away. However, it was above it less than 2 months ago yet half heads like myself decided to stay in (god knows why) and now at the point where it is too painful to sell. It’s a joke what has happened since 26/29 Nov given we’ve been through the biggest wave case wise.

For whatever reason they’ve done it, the BoD have certainly ground me (and many others I suspect) down to the point of not caring. Numb to it.

Didi- that’s the million dollar question. BOD haven’t told the market a thing for almost 2 months so who knows. Hopefully we’ll find out at the end of the month.

Quite a while but at the current rate, we can’t rule it out! Presumably it can but can’t see why a company would as it would make very little sense. But with our BoD at the helm, who the hell knows what is possible!

That’s fine if it’s a one off but this is every day, and getting worse. At this rate good results won’t even push us back above £3.

Drb - agreed. I didn’t give enough detail. My personal opinion is that by then the hysteria will be pretty much over (bbc are starting to turn their narrative) and the fear will be massively reduced and as such people will just get on with it, vulnerable will have their boosters and healthy folk will just shake it off as a mild flu/cold, if that. The mass testing will stop (we can’t afford it) and as countries get vaccinated they’ll also reduce testing. We don’t test for flu (before it was eradicated) or colds and that’s how covid will go.

Heeeence, the important of a positive outlook. I am not deramping, but looking forward from a lens that isn’t clouded by “how many covid tests can we sell?” relentlessly. As with investing, diversification is key and that is what the market will reward, if we can achieve it. SAGE headlines will not increase our SP now (omicron was the last spike for that) so let’s see what happens, if anything, in a fortnight.

ValJu - agreed. And it’s hold and wait for me. 38% down so not selling for now, and certainly not buying!

Sharestack - think what you like, but I’m a holder. I simply see the logical side and haven’t got my head in the sand about covid revenues. Another wave in SUMMER? Read the other day that omicron is a great natural immunity for all. And I’m saying we can’t base our future hopes on what the likes of SAGE say (they’ve been wrong at every level). If anything, I could call you a ramper but I won’t as I’m not interested in **** slinging.

OP - SAGE said this. They have zero credibility and it’s worrying they still get airtime. We need to move past this.

Ken - 250 looks sensible. Past two weeks tanking 9% a week so can expect the same for the next 9 days (crude calculation) which brings us to about 251 at close on 27th. Hopefully results and positive outlook on the 28th. As mentioned in this thread though, if we see a “difficult to forecast” outlook testing 200 could be a reality. How have we gone from end of Novembers highs to this?

Agree with Val. Can’t see why there’d be much interest at the moment as we’re dropping slowly day by day. Also, most PI’s must be below their break even now (apart from any who got in super early and didn’t sell) and don’t want to risk taking the hit. I’m certainly in that boat, probably deluded but at 38% down i guess it is just a gamble.

Other than that, it’s just the day traders and shorters, surely.

Just to add, the issue is I now no longer trust anyone in this regard which I think is why i react so much when I see overly positive posts on here as it just doesn’t stack up.
