Twosheds - more variants, so we ARE just relying on Covid? I thought the feeling was we need to move away from it?

DRB but who in their right minds is buying a stock that is the best part of 30% down this week and has just released 2021 worse than forecast 2021 results and a very, very vague non covid strategy? You mention new variants in another thread, but why will this be good for us? Omicron was the biggest wave of Covid yet and we seemingly benefited in no way from it.

Twosheds - what are you basing that on? Reducing covid revenues aside, the market views us as an R&D company now with nothing to sell. Talk of non covid products in Q4 is a nonsense as we all know it'll be delayed so 2022 is effectively a washout.

Such posts are really not helpful in the current circumstances. Is there any point in saying this? We all know it but why flood the board with such comments?

Do we genuinely believe that it is over done? We've seen the exact same comments since £8/£7/£6 and all the way down and it is still being said. At £2.20 that 'was the bottom' and a 're-rate is on the way', 'can't wait until the results RNS' etc. etc and we are now sub £2. I'm clearly in a bad place with this but feel these questions need to be asked. I know it is hard to tell who is a ramper sometimes (apart from the completely obvious ones) and at times like these it feels natural to be suspicious of everyone, so forgive me for that.

This is actually unbelievable. 2 months we’ve cried out for an rns, we get one and we get absolutely slaughtered. It’s a bloodbath. I genuinely feel like I’ve been repeatedly punched in the stomach.

Problem is the market doesn’t trust them to spend it wisely.

Oriens - if revenue recognition principles have been met it should be recognised. Cash received not relevant as it’d simply sit on the balance sheet as an debtor until invoice paid.

I think there’ll be some blue. Not much as it isn’t a stunning rns and the markets may be pounded again but if it spikes 5% that’s a healthy return in 24 hours.

Oriens - if goods sold and delivered they should be accounted for in 2021 otherwise the auditors may raise an eyebrow or two

Positive on the whole, disappointing timing given the battering the market got yesterday, but that’s one thing we can blame DA for! Bit of blue today, hopefully. Onwards and hopefully the occasional positive rns from here will start a re rate

Agreed. It’s for that reason why I can’t get my head around why any PI’s would buy in. If there were director buys I may even reconsider and have another gamble, but nothing.

Understand that DRB, but I can’t see a huge upside. We know that the company is, frankly, **** at rns announcements and even when positive they manage to put a negative slant on it. Feels like we could miss a huge opportunity if they word it poorly/deliberately downplay it. I know we can do **** all about it but is no one else worried? Been done to death but why no director buys? Surely it’s printing money if the outlook is good.

Val we need 20% to get to just £3 ffs. Maybe that’s fair value? Who the **** knows?

HarChris - fair enough. Not invested in any other AIM stocks so don’t tend to look at other boards. Maybe I’m becoming paranoid given what has happened here. I just wrap my head around 52% drop in 2 months and not a whisper from the board.
