So, simple question In-spirit.

What is the projected average efficiency gain to the D13 when fitted with your latest WHR system.

That's a question In-spirit will not give a clear answer to, I think. A few unambiguous figures would prove they are a serious develipment company and not trying to mislead investors and also Volvo.

Just rereading this phrase

" "It is anticipated that the unit could produce up to a 30% performance enhancement on certain commercial engines"

I noted that ' ... on certain engines ...' seemed slightly awkward English.

Of course it could be read as - the WHR UNIT I.e. the box that gathers the heat from the exhaust gases ITS performance can be improved by up to 30% ON certain commercial engines e.g. Great big ones.

So you are left wondering what does it do for the Volvo D13, very little I expect. Carefully crafted c***.

The latest RNS is carefully written, leaving it open to interpretation. Since the output is not specified as kWe or KWt then it creates ambiguity. In-spirit deliberately do not clarify the situation because fools here claim it is electricity. The idea that this device could improve an ICE engine by 30% is very doubtful..
Note, even their statement regarding the 30% is ambiguous.

Are we talking fuel efficiency, heat output, weight, power, Carbon emissions ???

What performance parameter is being considered. All very vague. The phrase " on certain commercial engines" is also interesting suggesting its not for all !

Of course there is no clue as to how efficient their device is, it seems what they get out is dependent of what goes in. I've said in the past any fool can get 131 kWt out of a box if you feed enough power in.

They took over the commercialisation of the failed 2008 Disenco Stirling mCHP. You can see it posing as the stage 1 WHR system on the Web site.

The crux of these ambiguous and illogical RNS is in interpretation. If In-spirit say they are in discussions with organisations what does that really mean? How often do 'discussions' take place? Are discussions face to face or by letter?
In-spirit said they were discussing certification for the Charger for over 3 years, a totally absurd situation. Was it true ? Only In-spirit and Enertek know that. Of course the lure of having a Hydrogen ready MCHP device strung along development for more years. Now It's not being progressed, why not ? Everyone else seems able to produce Hydrogen ready devices.
Certification has been stringing along the Charger for years and there's not shred of evidence that it is any closer to happening.

Personally I think a mCHP exists but it isn't viable for a mCHP nor a WHR system. A new Stirling is required to provide a bigger output and John Gunn is incapable of pulling it off with Paul Booker, his engineering team of 1.

Jump forward 3 month to 16 March 2023 and we have

" Stage two build and testing should be complete by the end of April 2023 "

What stage 2 hasn't been built yet ?

It is a pity John can't wrote a clear and unambiguous RNS stating exactly what has been constructed and exactly what is being tested and what it is producing. Perhaps that would reduce the mystery. He could also explain why photos of the 2008 Disenco Stirling are described as the latest WHR system.

He could explain why the Hydrogen Charger has been abandoned and why certification has not happened after years of waffle and raising money for it.

The reason your investment is not performing is John Gunn isn't performing. Don't blame Trolls for company performance we don't even know where the factory is or where the engineering teams are, but neither do you !

Since in-spirit keep writing about the UNIT to collect the heat from the exhaust gases but fail to mention how the Stirling engine is going to cope with this enormous input. Remember the Stirling was rated for 20kW input of energy from gas. What news of the electronic system to provide control. What news of the alternator, the only alternator known for the last 10 years only outputs 6.4 kW - according to in-spirit.

As you can guess, there has been no news or dis ussion of these items.

So come May there will be more delays for phase 4,5, 6 ... testing.

The WHR is a major component in the application for the Volvo Marine engine and other heat recovery applications ..."

The source for this 131 kW number is the snippet above. I have previously written about this before.

The first thing to note is, the WHR UNIT produces 34 kW.

Secondly the WHR UNIT is simply a component of the Volvo and other WH applications.

so the UNIT is simply the device that collects energy from the engine exhaust gases. As I have previously written anyone can feed hot exhaust gases into a 'box' and then claim the 'box' produces an output of 34 kW. As I said, it would be very difficult NOT get 34 kW out.

Of course the ambiguity arises because of the random use of APPLICATION, SYSTEM and UNIT. In-spirit are happy or deliberately allowing the ambiguity to continue because dumb punters start claiming 34 kW of electricity is coming out of the 'box'

Now we are headed for 131 kW. If any of you think that the one and only Stirling In-spirit claim to have and designed to produce 6.4 kW of electricity, is now going to pump out 131 kWe you are misguided, but perhaps that's what In-spirit want !

It has been designed as a boiler burning methan. The Stirling engine part may be ripped out of the Charge and then used in a WHR application. Who writes this junk.

You have done your research, you think In-spirit has patents - you are joking.

Tell us how your research differs from mine because I see 10 years of utter failure. A list of RNS that shows no delivery of what was promised. Today's RNS is just another example of more delays. Slightly less recently was the about turn on making the Charger Hydrogen ready, after over 3 years of discussions. Get real, no one spends 3 years discussing certification. You are either in a position to carry it out or you're not. Discussions in-spirit have always lead nowhere or simply fade into history.

There is now no time line for certification of the Charger after saying it was ready in 2016!
Every thing In-spirit writes is riddled with amateurish mistakes and deliberate ambiguity.
Take today's RNS, waffling on about the Charger and waste heat recovery, the author is seemingly unaware the Charger is a gas powered boiler producing some electricity. Silly writing like that gives no credibility to this company.

What gets enhanced ? Is it the WHR unit when fitted to 'certain' engines I.e. those that produce huge amounts of waste heat. Since they never say what energy is being put into the thing its ambiguous.

It is ridiculous to suggest they can improve a Volvo D13 by 30%. VOLVO would have hoovered up millions of shares today.

Just another teaser to pump the share price to keep the game going

The only discussion would be is In-spirit going to receive 1 Trillion or 10 Trillion ! From the auto industry or the power generation industry.

In-spirt claim the intended performance will be 131 kW from their system.

Consider this:
High capacity EV batteries today are about 100 kWH thus John Gunn is saying effectively, the In-spirit system will allow all EV batteries to be removed from vehicles and replaced with the WHR system. The recovered electricity can then power electric motors in the vehicle.

Goodbye Lithium and goodbye 1,000 lbs of weight.

With today’s announcement he has solved a couple of the biggest problems in the world.
If you believe it you are as crazy as he is !

Do the people buying into this today seriously think John Gunn has created the greatest piece of technology since the steam engine!

Claiming to be able to improve the performance of internal combustion engines by 30% is absurd ridiculous and borders on lunacy.

I rang the BBC and spoke to a science correspondent and told him British company had solved the energy crisis, he refused to take me seriously.

Desperate attempts being made to give the impression of many buys going through. As I said a while back it has to be pumped to get the share price above 0.075p to the half a Billion shares into play.

If they cant do this then the money lenders ... won't !

NO NO NO the Charger has not been designed for waste heat recovery. The Charger was designed to burn Methane and to provide mCHP for small enterprises and residential buildings.

The Stirling engine COULD be used for waste heat recovery, and it forms PART of the Charger.

Again what clown at In-spirit writes this stuff - it's amateurish - is this the quality of the brilliant engineering minds ?

gives the brochure for the D13 family of engines. Any fool can see that the HP output from the D13 varies considerably, they are available with various outputs.

If you read the brochure carefully it states “ Never specify a Volvo D13 engine for a cruise speed above 1550 rpm” because that’s the engines optimum performance.

Yet In-spirit trials the engine – supposedly – at 2400 revs far outside the optimum range of the D13

These people get nothing right, more reason to think they are a bunch of clowns stringing investors along with the eternal project development
