@ Ophidian... it's not the same company as 6 months ago. It has oncology and GI trials progressed into phase III , which IMHO makes it currently very undervalued.

As far as Blautix phase II results are concerned - it didn't sound positive to people who haven't got a clue (admittedly not an expert, but in HC/Pharma industry for years and have a basic understanding). Blautix has a very decent commercial potential as it hs side-effects ad addresses unmet needs of a very large IBS-M patient population and that means partnership and lump sum/milestone payments for 4D. If they "sold" the RNS bit better on Wednesday, and also talked about commercial opportunities we wouldn't have had this SP meltdown.

On the back of that I would say that this is a very much different company from the one a few months ago, potential NASDAQ listing would be a game changer.

Thanks Michael, good to hear you're also optimistic - I am always conservative with my forecasts and expectations but feeling quite bullish re 4D over the next 3 months.
Also, I was under the impression that 4D were covered financially for the short-mid term and placement was not on the cards... maybe I was wrong. God luck!

Glad someone else is also saying this, still holding as I believe we will soon hear about Blautix again, this time through a partnership RNS. And the reason I say this is not just because i would want it to happen (which clearly I would) - it's because it has competitive advantage over existing treatments and actually addresses unmet need of IBS-M patient population. I am still shell-shocked from Wednesday, I almost bought at 8am (but couldn't get a quote fortunately) as I interpreted RNS as good (not spectacular, but definitely good) and was expecting it to go to 220-250. But people obviously prefer to invest in TUI or Carnival :) This will go up soon- again thanks for explaining more eloquently what I have tried to say to people on this board a few times... I think Blautix will be a commercial success, we just need nerves of steel at the moment!

@Bluetiger... my understanding is that the reason GI drugs get high placebo responses (and I am no experts, this is simply what I heard) is because results are measured primarily by asking respondents about their stool consistency, whether they have had pain etc. It is not measured scientifically where you get a quantifiable result, so a number of respondents on placebo think they had the drug if they have not had pain/or seen some other improvements during the trial period. Again, just what I've heard, not an expert so please DYOR.

There are many people, right now, sitting and watching the SP unsure what to do. Once this hits 120 and stops looking like yesterday's meltdown might be on the cards again - watch the avalanche of buyers coming back in. Because fundamentals are rock solid. Something tells me that's what happening and I understand people after that bloodbath yesterday. Frankly was close to selling yesterday as my brain could not compute what was going on, thought something else happened (not just RNS) - started thinking I was misinterpreting RNS. I wasn't.

IMHO - Blautix has potential to be a commercial success. RNS yesterdays definitely positive, really now find this even funny (despite costing me money as invested). In due course there will be another RNS coming and those who sold @150 yesterday will buying @ 200... but that's just my opinion, and everyone should do their own research.

@donotpanic... that's what happens when people who have absolutely no idea about biotech/pharma eco-system invest and interpret results (I am definitely not an expert, only have basic understanding as I work in the industry). Not sure what people were expecting to hear? GI clinical trials traditionally suffer from false placebo positives so, in real terms, the efficacy % is lower than in other therapy areas (Cardio, Onc, CNS, etc.)... This RNS, IMHO, was good - Blautix I believe will find a partner over the coming weeks/months as it has commercial potential and addresses unmet clinical need. Yesterday was a complete joke :)

what people.don't get is that you do not need a drug (compound) to be a completely revolutionary treatment for it to be a commercial success. Yesterday's results are attractive enough for a pharma partner looking to address IBS-M patient population and also offer to the market a safe, no side-effects first line of defence against an early onset of IBS (incl.C and D). Also, this drug has potentially a number of different application as it is SAFE. Unlike people who sold yesterday, pharma licensing directors will know the potential to commercialise this product. Would not be surprised if, out of nowhere, over the coming weeks we get an RNS re Blautix partnership. IMHO, DYOR.

Bluetigeruk... thanks for that. How about addressing unmet needs of IBS-M patients with a safe drug with no side-effects? How much is that worth on the market? Surely if Blautix can tick that box it is an absolute winner (considering the market size)
As it has no side effects (and comparable efficacy levels to existing treatments) does it not become immediately a go-to prescription for GPs? Just on those basis this should be a relatively successful Phase II trial result... certainly not resulting in a 35% drop in SP?

It doesn't really matter - today's SP action confirms there is very little reasoning and logic on AIM. This was a good RNS (not perfect, but good) and SP tanks 35-40% Ridiculous

Ok ladies and gents - what am I missing here??? what is going on? Maybe 4D need to do an interview to explain to simpletons what the RNS this morning means. I am patient but don't like seeing SP disappearing like this - I am now actually losing cash after a good RNS!

@Tedjames - I am also annoyed as invested here but have you heard the presentation this morning? This is a very positive RNS. Provides a treatment alternative for IBS-C and IBS-D patients (but without side-effects, unlike current treatments) and addresses the IBS-M patient population (roughly 1/3 of IBS sufferers) who currently have no real medication available to them. This is considered a positive RNS, however this is AIM and essentially wild west so people sold this morning on emotion rather than reason. Obviously all this is in IMO. Hope that helps you, I am trying to reason this way but please DYOR.

It wasn't easy this morning, but watching the presentation now - what is wrong with people??? It's going to Phase III, results are good (it is not a silver bullet for IBS, but a very good Phase II result nevertheless) - those selling will regret by Xmas IMHO. Good luck!
