Aj001... it all depends on how quickly phase III start coming together, how quickly we get emergency use authorisation and how successful trial results are ... imho, inthink by the EOY... 400-500 as I believe in the science behind SNG and commercialisation potential. Please do your own research, this is just my humble opinion.

Nice to have exposure in any newspaper, including Daily Express, but very poorly (and somewhat confusingly/misleadingly written). Imho the title and the opening imply, to those not fmiliar with SNG, that the company (SNG) is not dented by its own failure ( like it's SNG 's responsibilty thatbother trials involvibg interferon failed). Anyways, good to have name mentioned in tabloids as well.

Org30 - I think it is because media (and gen pop) have been brainwashed that the only way out is via a vaccine. Even though that is ridiculous - we don't even know how long we would be protected from Covid after vaccination, and at least 30% (possibly even 50% in some countries) wouldn't want to be vaccinated anyways.

Thanks Elsol, appreciate your level-headed response. I am not planning to sell at all, actually really believe in the final victory but it's always good to be slightly on the cynical side when these kinds of news come in (i.e. internal selling). It is a bit strange considering the broker forecast but yes, people have priorities and maybe wanted to buy a new car :)
Each one of these two internal share disposals wouldn't bother me too much on their own, but together got me a bit jumpy.. cheers

WelshFalcon - If you look at my posts you will find out that I am very bullish about SNG potential, but owe it to myself (like any responsible investor) to always try to stay objective and consider all angles. Two people selling substantial % of their stake (100% and 50%) is always a red flag, regardless of how it's packaged. I can buy it's done for tax purposes, but I have also learned not to believe in coincidences when investing... maybe this really is just a coincidence that they are both selling

Am I getting this right? Dr. Victoria Tear selling 50% of her shares upon exercising her optionss???? After Head of Clinical Operations selling 100% of her shares yesterday???

haha... CryptoChris ... yes, that would be an ideal scenario, not impossible but not probable over the coming days (over the next 6 months I think quite possible, even probable).

Perhaps the price might retrace slightly over the coming days, and it might not, depending on a number of factors. And yes, if that happens, providing you sell now and buy in a few days you might add a few more shares to your portfolio.

HOWEVER: You might get caught being out of SNG if and when an RNS arrives - and now there are so many news we are expecting - and SP shoots up 10-20% (50%?) RNS could be about:

EMA - emergency approval
TR1 announcing arrival of a reputable II
Any kind of a partnership agreement/announcement/trial program inclusion

etc.

Also, as SNG has now secured funding and is progressing SNG001 to Phase III it is reasonable to assume there will be more media coverage - which means more people will be investing as optics are very good.

So, in my opinion if you are selling now, you have to ask yourself (in words of Inspector Callahan):

Do you feel lucky? :)

Once more unto the breach... ! This board will start getting super busy over the coming days as our SNG gospel starts hitting mainstream media and nice to see people are coming here and asking questions, the more the merrier. For those planning to invest... some of the key reasons (in my opinion, DYOR):

1. Solid science based on nebulised beta interferon solution, phase II clinical trial results showing 79% efficacy, unparalleled results of all the treatments developed globally. 3. Treatment can be administered both at home and in a hospital setting - huge savings for healthcare systems globally (and our own NHS) which should make it an instant favourite ahead of potential competition (most, if not all, of which are administered intravenously)

4. It has a potentially very broad anti-viral use - it was initially developed to assist COPD patients suffering from an onset of flu, it is emerging that it could be treating future Covids/pandemics - unlike vaccines which are apparently virus-specific. This means we could be using SNG001 for years to come for a wide variety of viral infections (potentially also as prevention)

5. Company has managed all of the above without any real help (to my knowledge) from the government and therefore I assume it is not tied into any commercial obligations towards the government. It has full freedom to commercialise its product.

I could probably pull out a few more but there is one reason, arguably the most important one - hopefully I will be able to tell my grandkids that their grandada invested in Synairgen when it developed Synterferon during the great pandemic of 2020. That product saved millions of lives and I played a very small part in it. How cool is that?
