Hello troops, last night we got a question through (pmjh did, to be precise) to Fauci himself during a youtube live interview. And even though moderator fudged it and Fauci didnt answer properly - it showed that we can make an impact and raise awareness- and not just look at a SP sliding down :) Tired of that! Let's not forget that Dufresne wrote a letter ever week for years until they built him a library in Shawshank ;)

With that in mind - what are we doing next? Ideas welcome!

henk12 - I wouldn't worry too much about new IIs (the ones who got in at 175) selling off soon. They have done their due diligence and they play to win, not to make a few dollars on day/short term trading. IIs always account for short-term losses if they are getting involved.

In terms of my losses -yes, agree with you, getting angry but holding.

Scinv - my understanding is, and please correct me if wrong, is that when FDA gives you guidance it is to help the approval process. Otherwise, what's the point? Maybe it's just my wishful thinking but why would they bother with SNG if, after being presented with current data, FDA thought it was all a fool's errand. Maybe i am wrong.
Again, appreciate your frustration , same here, don't think this is a slam dunk at all and unsettled by the trend last couple of days - clearly shares are being sold-off and trying to work out why. Want to see who else is getting involved, in terms of IIs, as soon as possible.

Scinv - it's in the RNS (placing RNS). I still trust RNS - especially when putting information in writing.

Scinv - clearly the noise was loud enough for IIs to drop 80m GBP into this. Also for FDA to give it's blessing for Phase III. So there is probably some fire in addition to a lot of smoke clearly. But yes, uneasy that peer review or any kind of 3rd party seal of approval hasn't happened yet, you're right there. I guess we have to choices, as always: hold or sell. Or, option number 3: top-up?

Andym123.... agree with everything, my only hope is that phase III starts showibg such impressive results that it's stopped early.. it is now clear that there is no miracle cure yet for covid and this obsession with vaccine is really puzzling, especially when everyone knows ao many people will not even want to get vaccinated. It is quite easy to turn into conspiracy theorist, their thelries axtually at this point sound most plausible.

Is it possible that phase III of a treatment that had such promising phase II results is nowhere on his radar? In a situation where the world is desperate for a treatment and there is nothing really effective out there? And countries are en route to returning to lockdowns (France is, news just in)... something stinks here. Just being realistic, not sure where the ahort circuit is

sunnyca - thanks, good to hear and appreciate the advice. Based on your 10-year plan I can tell you have an eye for detail so assume you have done serious research on 4D :) btw, like the plan!

I also think 4D has enormous potential, can't wait for it to hit NASDAQ, fed up with AIM games.

So, SP drops 8%+ today because...? Am I missing something? I understand people are cautious but makes sense for stocks like Cineworld to be sold off, they are directly impacted by COVID... but a promising biotech stock that is going through SPAC to get listed on NASDAQ with a promising pipeline in several therapy areas????? Seriously?

Scinv - when you say "an update on the publication" - do you mean peer review?

I would not agree with you that trials are failing... actually Phase III is about to kick-off opening doors for potential emergency approval by the FDA (in case of overwhelming evidence during Phase III that SNG001 is efficacious and saving lives).

I share your frustration that peer review has not been completed/published, but wouldn't agree with the rest of the comment. From what I have been told peer reviews usually takes months (in normal times), but agree with you that i would feel better if there was some more data to bolster July findings. My understanding is that peer review is due shortly, maybe I am wrong?

Dumbpunter - one might argue that every phase II trial is inconclusive as it is conducted on a relatively small sample but it can give us a (very) strong indication of the drug/compound potential. That is precisely why there is Phase III, to hopefully further validate that. Of course there is still risk, I'd hope that everyone on this board is well aware of that and has factored that risk in. I believe SNG have published results that are true, accurate and very promising - I do not doubt their integrity and 79% efficacy is truly impressive. You mentioned Venrock are reducing their holding as results are inconclusive. Results were published 3 months ago, have they just found out something new that they have not been aware of? BTW, I completely understand why you are reducing your position if it is half of your pension fund, that'd be too risky for me too.

So, you still hope for the best :) I mean, you still have 5k riding on the success of SNG. Good man!

Clearly we don't know what reasons David Norwood would have had to sell on Friday - but it is very sensible to be concerned that someone presumably in the 4D "circle of trust" decides to sell 30% of his stake, just before SP (in our view on this board) takes off. One would have to be silly not to be puzzled by this development.

Am I reading this RNS correctly or is there a different explanation? No panicking, just curious as to whether these are some broker shenanigans or they are genuinely reducing position
