benm111 - agree that RM needs assistance (not his fault really, has a very small team and has to prioritise... that said, as a CEO he should increase headcount if he needs to as ultimately responsible but really don't want to be harsh, overall happy with SNG direction). We will never know all the details around any negotiations that may have taken place since 20th July (or might be ongoing) - but SNG001 is not a Covid-19 drug. Never was, it became this year - it is meant to address ridiculously big COPD patient population and is also showing promise as a broad-spectrum antiviral (which, if true, wold turn SNG001 into an ibuprofen/aspirin/penicillin calibre drug). Blockbuster.
But agree with you in terms of SNG commercialisation - also very frustrated sometimes. SNG is simply not a commercially-led but science-led company, whether we like it or not.
