Imho... all of these news re vatious vacxines are there for politicians to reassure mass population that life will be back to normal. These guys need to project optimism to get re-elected.

At the same time WHO is openly saying vaccines are not enough and we need treatments. So where does that leave us, SNG holders.?

Well, it's tough and will be even tougher for a while perhaps. But, providng SNG001 is really the treatment we hope it is and P3 validates to some extent P2's 79% efficacy.. sentiment will change overnight.

And not because Eva and other blackjack PIs will be buying SNG shares, but because the NHS and its international equivalents will be stockpiling and money will be hitting SNG's bank account. Simples.

Now it's down to each one of us to decide if we believe the above will happen and act accordingly.

Expecting one re Phase III trials... incoming?

Frenchcafe... very moving message, I empathise with your situation. We are all frustrated by the fact that better treatments like SNG001 are not made widely available rihht now and that lives are lost where perhaps things could have been different.
I admit I invested in Synairgen for selfih, financial reasons. But I believe that for a lot of us here it has become more than just that. We are also invested emotionally and invest time helping' the cause' on the social media as much as we can. At times it certainly seemed like it was too little (and too late) and we were backing a small company without the necessary infrastructure to go the distance.

But the announcement this evening re NIHR' s fastracking of our Phase III trial gives me tremendous hope that the powers that be are now fully behind us and that in no time, provoding Phase III trials validate phase II findings, SNG001 will be on the front line. I believe that in a month or so people's lives will be saved across the UK. Courtesy of Synairgen. Really hope so.

YEs, these results were published on 20th July but have now been peer reviewed and published in The Lancet.
