ColdBrew - you're right, however they have just a few months ago dropped a comined $2m into the company @ 1.10 - as you know. Which a decent show of confidence I think.

Can this all go horribly wrong for us holders? Absolutely. Am I a bit nervous? Most definitely, I am in red here.

My only (real) concern is that results/data update has been delayed by a few months. That doesn't have to be a bad thing, but it not usually a good sign.

I think (not an expert) that there is so much research now emphasising microbiome relevance to the immune system (oncology/autoimmune disease/CNS, etc.) that companies like 4D could end up creating an entirely new drug class. Upside is gigantic in my opinion so I am holding (hope to be proven right) but i know it could end in tears as well.

We are still waiting for the news - if good, it will put us on the map I reckon of big money/serious investors operating on Nasdaq. If this happens, we are all truly laughing. Calm your nerves, whoever is selling seems to be doing it becuase they have to (and not because there's any kind of a material news re the company).

Btw, last year - Woodford (I believe) got rid of Synairgen shares not long before the famous Manic Monday 20th July when SNG shares exploded. Those also holding SNG will know what I'm talking about. So stay cool if you believe in the company.

All the usual caveats (i.e. I'm not an investment advisor, don't be an idiot and use your own head when you're making buy/sell decisions - yes you can lose all your money with biotech investments). Good luck to us all!

Whoever wants to build/increase a substantial position or looking to put down a TO bud benefits from keeping the price on a downward trend as it shakes us, PIs, relatively easily (not everyone clearly).

I do however think there is a seller also as there are fairly regularly chunky, round numbers of stock sells happening.

Amphirion - As somone who works in a commercial/consultancy role withing HC/Pharma (not a HCP/biotech professional) I completely agree with you. Yes, to attract US money some polishing up is very advisable (to say the least).

I have utmost respect for DP and his career, not IFs and BUTs. DP and AS are key drivers behind 4D's success so far and that has to respected, I agree. US way of doing business does require a bit more "salesmanship" and charisma and it certainly helps to project confidence and belief (some would even say ****iness). That said, I do think that eventually, if data is good and 4D is really sitting ona goldmine, they will be OK wearing mankinis on business meetings and everyone will still be showering them with cash. But we need that good data to arrive first hopefully. Good luck to us all!

his2jen - DP is maybe not the most charismatic man in the world (neither am I!) but... data is king. Everyhting else is BS and really that charisma is clearly most importnat to rally us, private investors - obviously institutions, big pharma and banks/funds look at different things.

But yes, agree that you can never be too passionate/assertive/confident when presenting things you believe in!

Nothing has fundamentally changed - we are actually looking stronger than a few months ago with catalysts around the corner apparently. If you've had enough of these market games then yes, bail. It's not worth sacrificing your mental health.

Or you wake up to a relatively good RNS (Blautix) and plebs panics and SP tanks. I still thank that was relatively good RNS as it showed efficacy in a specific under served patient population... but people only read 'not statistically significant' and lost the plot.

But whatever PIs might think... at some point serious investors' money starts moving in if data is good and the potential is there.

Being a 4D investor requires nerves of steel.

But, if you believe in the value proposition here - than you hold the line and wait. Once the data is in, and it is good - market forces take care of all the shorting and other games being played and very soon stock costs what it should.

Or you wake up with an RNS that a massive TO has been approved by the board ;) in either way you are laughing.

Yes, apart from using their own platform to isolate specific strains of bacteria showing efficacy in Oncology /CNS/GI (subject to successful trials but so far showing some positive results)- 4D are not doing much else. If you reckon that's not really science and not that difficult maybe we should all do it? ??

I am not a financial/investment advisor and I rely only on my DD as biotech investments are highly risky (4D is no different)... that said, I do think that big pharma companies have reasons for investing in novel technologies/ drug classes and happy to follow the money. (Only/ especially if my own DD is backing it).

Mumbo Jumbo... you need to call Merck immediately and tell them exactly what you just told us. Maybe they listen to you? Didn't realise Merck were investing in companies producing KEFIR :) (as you so vividly explained earlier).

Incidentally - was only using penicillin and insulin earlier as examples of medical research breakthroughs (can't believe you didn't get that) - and was not comparing their composition/manufacturing process/MOA or anything else to 4D research. Was that not obvious?

Please feel free not to engage in further debates with me - I am trying to be civil here. I don't know whether 4D's trials will be successful and none of us do but hope for success for several reasons.

By someone innovative and creative disproving an army of doubters and haters talking rubbish without any understanding of the subject matter. Sounds familiar?

Not saying that I have any guarantee is thet 4D Pharma is that company that will produce the next penicillin/iknsulin etc. - but they are showing some positive signs that, to me, are very encouraging. Hope your next post will be even more insightful than your previous one.
