Is AVCT led by a high-quality, motivated team, committed to long-term growth as an independent UK company and delivering value for shareholders and customers, or a group of luke-warm time-servers who, come the time, will sell to the highest US bidder ... or something in between? Buying in smaller, gradual increments allows fund managers to 'test the water', also build positions without driving up the price of a stock, especially when trading in illiquid, small-cap companies.

I like Nassim Nicholas Taleb's "barbell" investment strategy - putting the vast majority of one's assets in extremely safe investments and a small portion in highly speculative, high-risk, high-reward opportunities, completely avoiding the "medium risk" middle ground. For me ZPHR is in the highly speculative, high-risk, high-reward category. Happy new year.

Ebbs, I'd guess they can't say 'operator' as their most productive assets are non-op, and 'platform' makes it clear they're seeking partners. Utah, home of Paradox, is a Rocky Mountain state, so it's a pretty accurate geographical description, and I'd expect anyone remotely interested look below the headline.

He's right about gas though. Even UK is waking up to / remembering its vital role in grid supply and balancing, with low GHG emissions vs oil.

Also, the presentation told us nothing new *by definition* because anything new and substantial must be announced by RNS first. The presentation was directed at those new to the company or who hadn't looked at it for some time.
