3. The KPMG and Wood end of year 4 Apr 24 to 4 Apr 25 accounts.

These 3 should be near end and 85% seen by both Wood and Sid by now.

Why the wait?

Is it purely for official handover/validation if these, if so nothing coming until after 6 April, hopefully Monday 7 April RNS will be offer of £1.45 accepted and all happy!

So for now we might as well buy, hold, and wait until the 7th, and a very quiet Bb??????

You are not far off, I reckon 39% less than the£2.30 - 6 months ago, given issues, which is why I will stick my neck,out and say final word is£1.60 bid via RNS on Thursdaythisweek. The end of year report, plus Deloitte reports, both in draft will hit Wood and Sidara tomorrow.

Agree totally, offer will come as soon as Deloitte report formally submitted to Wood. Sidara will be ready, and have seen 2024 financials in draft, plus as Deloitte report being delivered in parts as it progresses, will have been shared with Sid. I expect a first offer of£1..30 on Thursday, then maybe a second offer Friday of£1.50, when first offer turned down!

SJM1994 - If the offer being negotiated wasn’t above a £1 this would have stopped 2 weeks ago. Why do people like you keep referring to stupid figures??? The fundamentals and II’s point towards somewhere between £1.25 and £1.50, which is around £1 less than last time, which given were share price is now plus other matters gives us a good £1.30 -£1.50.range!

Still looks like quite large sells of 50,000 to 100,000 shares being drip fed into market as Investment Funds sell out of Wood as being FTSE250 Tracker Funds. This should be done by COP tomorrow and then hopefully Wednesday we will see sp steadily move into 50-65p range and onto 70p by Friday.

The Institutions will not accept anything below a £1, plus the two sides would not still be talking or negotiating or agreed an offer if it was below a £1. This 4th set of talks would have ended 2 weeks ago. Get real Crowman. Wood is not a AIM share or going for a RPO, it is discussing a purchase in cash offer for a 6Billion dollars turnover company, with full order books and contracts for the next 5-7 years!!!

Agree totallySG2025 - people have to realise it will be at least 80p below the£2.30 last time. Due to current position. BUT and big BUT Wood are not desperate! And solvent with an oath back to profits and bigger things. BUT they have both agreed to talk for 4th time and I believe, we are just awaiting sight of Deloitte report and II’swill agree a £1.60 offer!!

Agree- It is the institutions owning 80% of Wood who will need to be placated, with somewhere around 30% below last offer 6 months ago at £2.30 roughly around the £1.60 -£1.90 range which if both sides are happy with £1.65 then us poor mortal PI’s will be ecstatic!! Still stick with my £1.25.

Targa, if this was any offer or negotiation under £1, it would have been over 2 weeks ago!!! Get it into your thick head and others in here, this bb, the Institutional Investors who own 85% of Wood, plus 10% held by 1% and below big single investors, plus the 5% held by Wood pensions are NOT, repeat NOT going to accept anything under £1. We as LTH and II’s can wait longer term 12-18 months for this to turnaround and be at £1.30 without Sidara. Believe me this is being negotiated around retention of staff, plus a bid of between £1.20 -£1.60 or thus would have stopped last week!! Anyone serious hold and stay on bb, or stop spouting crap!!

With a reverse takeover and still under13pwhen decision is only 2 weeks away, I expect this to fly next week up to 27p, it is so undervalued it’s a steal!! Plus may also, pick up 200,000 SQZ shares to double bag! Here, I think 500,000, to a Million shares will see a nice little 12-17% earner!!!

If you had done the value of assets, contracts, order books, people etc. You will know that if they are still talking/negotiating it will be above a £1. They would have gone home 2 weeks ago if we were piffling about at 70p. At 80p, we would be better stand alone and build and grow our sp to £1.50 within 12 months. Sidara are at the table for about 80p, less than last bid at £2.30 - around £1.50-£1.80 itnis this which II willa celt and Wood sell!!! So please stop the bxxxxxcks of putting fear into holders!!! Hi all, to take our minds off Wood and Sidara. Why don’t we focus all our efforts, knowledge and experiences and review and visit the LSE bb for ENQ or SQZ - 2 Oil and Gas companies. With ENQ looking to do a merger and acquisition via a reverse takeover? Really fascinating and could earn 12-25% returns short term as decisions made on 4 April, plus special divi for SQZ. Take a look and report on ENQ bb. Cheers all!!!

Stupmy-If and big if!!Sidara had pitched a bid of 65p as a table opener, we would have been over with 2 weeks ago. Just in the value of order books, people, assets and all other positives, a starting point is at least a£1. For my five penneth I think it will settle around £1.45-£1.65 region. Probably worth £1.80 but with current BoD and CEO, plus Institutional Investors wanting a good pay day, I reckon £1.60 bid RNS at 7am tomorrow!!

Yes, I was just confused as hadn’t seen anyone posting on bb with madjad post name. Thought I had missed a gem from you or someone replying to you. Your posts are both insightful and factual and keep us newbies to takeovers updated. I am also looking at a reverse takeover between ENQ and SQZ if anyone on this bb wants to invest their profits from Wood next week into either? Cheers for all posts and any help with the above? Peter.
