If you think that Sidara will offer the II’s who own 82% of Wood and the large individual investors who own 10% and 5% with Wood Pension scheme. That Sidara will offer either £1.10 or £1.30 on Monday then buy buy buy. If not sell and move on.

Yes II’s 82% + 10% +5% is owned by the main holders, leaving approx 3-4 % in float. There is obviously some of the 82% , around 5-6% in shorters hands.

So stop the carping, we have no impact on Wood or Sidara on an offer or acceptance!!

Patience and offer will come or we will bounce back to a £1 within 6-12 months as we rebound back as a better organised, managed and finance and audits wise, to bigger and better things, growth and large BP and Middle East projects.

Sharecast News) - Analysts at Canaccord Genuity placed their target price and rating on oilfield services business Wood Group under review on Thursday, stating it was "lacking reasonable grounds" to take a stance on the stock.

Wood Group said earlier in the week that it does not expect to be able to publish results by 30 April and was now expecting to have its shares suspended from trading on the same date. It also stated that there was an expectation of material restatement of accounts for each of the past three years.

As a result, Berenberg no longer believe it has "a reasonable basis" for a price target on Wood.

"We continue to believe that the franchise has a substantial value, as indicated by the continuing discussions with Sidara, but we do not believe this is an adequate basis for a valuation," said the German bank.

Berenberg previously had a 'buy' rating and 250.0p target price on the stock.

All this means is they acknowledge what wood said about a suspension and re-submit if accounts and then back out if suspension. Old news, what matters is that Sidara offer a conditional bid of £1.30 tomorrow or Monday and everything is good on all sides!

Extension coming, they need more time to go through DD and the accounts etc, plus waiting for end of year audit/accounts which means extension!!

The fundamentals are there fact, plus fact Woodwould still not be entertaining Sidara, unless a ‘ball park ‘ figure go over £1.30 wasn’t on the table. There is no way they will have entertained any pre-offer before extension of under £1. I really think we will get a conditional offer of £1.30 on Friday or Monday. The shorters and idiots on this Bb is just noise and filtered.

Delapsusresurgam - One major point to you note, Wood don’t need any finance or anything else until October 2026. Plus to remind everybody Wood are owned 95% wise by:

85% - Institutional Investors or individuals with 1% or more.

10% of investors with large amounts just under1%.

3-4% by Wood Pension Group.

I still think we will get a £1.30 offer/bid tomorrow or Monday, there is absolutely NO reason for any further delay!! They could make the bid subject to no adverse items in re-validated and submitted accounts and final version of Deloitte report. Job done II’s happy, PI’s ecstatic and Wood and staff happy!

I was hoping Sidara offer was going to be in by now? Then I could invest some of the profit into SQZand ENQ to profit on that reverse takeover on 4 April. I am in agreement with Icecool and James Oxford that a bid/offer this week if say£1.10 would be accepted and all done with Institutional Investors like Blackrock by 0900 on Friday, here’s hoping!! If not sit and wait for 2-3 months and then get a £1 offer once Deloitte and audited books for 2024 and before are all,in and validated. Though my biggest worry is that by Sidara dragging this out for 2-4 months with extensions and suspensions some, maybe 2-3,000 Sidara experts will jump ship??? Hope not!!

Anthony Chester are you for real? It was a drop of 25% in sp only. The big institutions still own 82% of wood, 10% owned by smallholders under 1% each. Then around 3-4% in Wood pension scheme. This is 96%, which hasn’t changed a jot!!!! Read the RNS on who holds what, plus pension scheme? This leaves around 4-5% in free float! FACT. Where do all you FUD digging and negative non-shareholders come from? Paid shorters?

I think an extension of 3 weeks is on the cards.

Nortrac try over82%!! Look at the RNS and see what % they own, then there is the big10 individuals with 0.9% each. Then the Wood pension fund around 4%, with very little loose shares and PI’s with ablut2-3%.

Another numpty only been on the Bb 4 weeks and all post negative on Wood. Filtered.

FTSE250 is good in one way the investment trackers of 250, will automatically buy into it and bang share price up 5%.
