29/03/2022 just bc its the last Monday of the year

So many spats on the share chats :( I am a newbie pi and came in at 170p on back of the fine not being as hefty as anticipated by the BoDs. Its already 20p down from that and some of the derampers expecting it to go a further 20p down to 130p. Other than rampers what is it going to take to get the price above 170p? Increase in oil prices? Increase in new spud sites requiring oilfield services? Is it that companies are too cautious to deal with them now? Would thought companies would want to deal more now as they know it will all need to be above board or is it that they won't be getting any immediate backhanders?

wtf! I just bought in again at 66 but they are still freefalling. No straight line, just a diagonal downwards. Hope the new manufacturer's box design gets FDA approval or my lad will have to go to state school, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Earlier this week I read the news from 6th October about needing to submit revised NDA design plans to FDA based on the housing being made by a different manufacturer than the one currently in use when approval was sought. I read that the FDA review period takes 2-6months for NDA resubmission but we knew that. Share price has steadily climbed each day. How come the downhill price slope today? Did something else happen? I bought more this morning at 70.75 in anticipation of them reaching 80p. Well I got that wrong :(

I am new to shares and have just 7649 N4P I bought couple weeks ago at 8.3172p and realise they are a long term wait for a good news rise inspite of the drop in value since purchase. Luckily I bought POLX at same time. Anyways, I saw trades of just 50 and 65 shares earlier today. I don't get it? Surely the brokerage fee makes that impractical.

Thanks Staycool. Hope the vote to agree goes through in that case and I can treat this as a £300 learning experience. I had a few Safeway shares years ago that morphed into Morrisons with an uplift in value. Was hoping the same would happen again but I missed this 'cash only' bid stipulation :/

I stupidly invested at 295 buying just 3000 that Friday afternoon prior to auction. Was my first share purchase and the worst (so far). If the winning auction bid goes through, which seems likely, then are the shares outright purchased back at 285 or converted to shares in the new owners? Is there any point holding on to them now? Just glad I bought POLX based on 'latest share chat' last week.

digitaljunior, I too am learning and just bought based on the chat thread's optimism of a pending RNS. Hope we both do OK from it.

Bugsy911 get them before the barbers shut at 4:30pm though. As for the chemists it seems POLX is on the up now ;)

Thanks Tom48. Is there a take over bid looming today? Price keeps bobbing up n down between +6 and +8p. Or is that just a typical Friday thing of people buying before the weekend?

I'm a total newbie. If Dividend is today and I buy shares today does that qualify me to receive the dividends? If so, how long do I need to hold the shares to get the dividends? I see the history shows dividends were issued in June at 8p? Would I need to hold the shares till next June? tia
