This will be changed and somewhere in Q1 I guess prices will start recover.
I read oil prices will average about same as 2018 for 2019 and I belive so too.

2020 will be even more interresting, its getting less and less spare capacity in market.

Enquest will not go bankrupt for 1-12 months low oil price like this. And we still have hedge until end Q1.
It will neither be a sucess within 1-12 months high oil prices unless they hedge on good level.

This needs a 65+ usd oil price over next 5 years.
Or some structual deal with other company
Then we should get a good value out if it.

Markets always over react down and up and now its very painfull.
Enquest survival ability is better then ever today with there highest production ever after Magnus been added

At these levels after Q1 hedge, basically can pay interest for debt and capex 250 milj.
But not reduce the debt.

Maybe can postpone some drilling (lower capex), Magnus, Malaysia and prioritize debt reduction still

Hope everyone (except Enq) turn off all taps now otherwise oil might go down additional more then 100%!

I didn’t like this 3 way collar, in my opinion it could be used when price is low. What about next step now, only hedge Q1 shorter then normal. Keep unhedged Q2-4 and wait for price recover? Or now use again 3 way collar with floor 50 and keep some upside?

But I do remember back in sept/Oct 2018 I said hope they hedge a lot now at 75-80 usd 50% volume maybe 12 months.
What could be worst result? That Oil went to 100?

Sorry, but I just didnt get their hedge strategy this time and now even putting that company in danger of another lost year 2019 without bigger debt reduction

I dont think AB's sallary makes its up for holding of shares.
Think he is underwater also, dont know his intial price when company was founded but in first years he added alot shares at 100-120 p.
My guess is that his average is higher then most here.

What do you mean with hedge, and who would call it in 2017?

Gkb, its interresting these last AB's buys of shares , why buy 1,3 milj exra recently when he already have 150 milj.
Its less then 1% more shares he get.
Either he must think its so dirt cheap that he cant resist.
Or its just to try send some signals to market

AB, or why didnt I hedge alot volume 18 months at 75-80 and safely cleared half debt.
Well its takes some strong nerves to be in AB's shoes
