RE: 20p again!29 Sep 2019 12:56
'gator - I acknowledge and echo your frustration with the SP, and all the de-risking signposts that should have put it in a totally different place. As humble PIs I am afraid there is so much outside of our control, especially when IIs are manoevering in the background and trading away in large lumps off market. It's a heavyweight game of poker, and purely as observers we have no right to see their hands - nor are they obliged by the rules to reveal them. What seems obvious to me is that most of these transactions of lumpy Sells/Buys have been traded at 19.5p and then recorded simply as Sells on the LSE site - but why not have them recorded as off-market trades? Meanwhile the MMs have held the SP at the same solid level - with slight encouragement in my view of some decent PI-type Buys at 19.8 and 20 at the end of the week. For sure, all the background moves will have been observed closely by CalE/BH, who would have the clout to comfortably blow this lot away if required. Accordingly, I am at ease with both position and prospects, and whilst all our views on what might happen are pure conjecture, our fundamentals and our funding are the two pillars that I rely upon for progress.
