I'll certainly look into it although to be fair to HL once you know the slight quirk about divis it's not that bad (just annoying when you can see your cash but can't figure out how to get your hands on it....).

Yes Cev. It's simple when you know how. However when you have the settings on "leave the cash in my account" the average person would expect to be able to get their hands on their divis without going through a multi click process. It certainly ain't intuitive. Whilst I'm certainly no Einstein I'm Lso not thick and it defeated me to the point where I had to phone the help desk. If I'd waited it would have arrived in my "spending" account in a month.... a bit 5hit if you ask me.

I found the process of actually getting my hands on the dividend quite painful with HL - I've been invested in RR almost exclusively so dividends was a new thing. I could see the money was there but accessing it was nigh on impossible - I ended up having to contact the helpdesk who talked me through how to get my hands on it. If you don't pro-actively "get" it it takes HL a month to put it in your account - which I find a bit 5hit.

It's not exactly a secret that Tufan / RR are desperate to re-enter the narrow body market. So where are we at?

1: Are we expecting some sort of announcement? (Someone on this board said the workers had been told categorically there'd be no announcement this year??)

2: As its an "open secret" will an announcement do much to the SP?? (Surely it'll be priced in (on the whole))

It's late, I'm tired. Why oh why oh why shareflyer? After my initial concern that NTC's prediction was bordering on the insane I, like many others took on board his views and gradually accepted the £7 by Feb 2025 mantra. I was gutted the day before results day as I truly didn't think Royces had it in it to make the fabled £7 the next day.....it will go down as one of the greatest and most accurate SP predictions in LSE board history..... but you just sit there banging away at your keyboard with insults and derision. It's pathetic.

NTC was a penny closer with his guess than you shareflyer (10.57 / 10.56). He was bang on with his prediction that RR would get to £7 in Feb 2025. I, like many, thought he was an eccentric nutter when I first saw his prediction with Royces in the £1 - £2 bracket (he'd actually made the prediction when they were under £1). Your obsession with NTC is a little odd Shareflyer. Is it some sort of jealousy? Your posts are generally angry / nasty. Why? If you've nothing positive to add why bother typing atall?

He did this last time he reversed course (he announced there was never a better time to buy shares just before announcing tarriffs would be suspended / delayed) - He's a real piece of work - yet very, very, very simple.

Despite todays fall I'm still smiling. Todays fall isn'y because Royces have declared an engine fault or an accounting black hole. It's down to a very stupid, very orange man who is desperate for attention. It's a blip. We're still way ahead of where we thought we'd be 6 months ago. Enjoy your weekend and let's hope the orange one reverses course (yet again) to save the stockmarket.... Might be interesting to monitor his truth social to see if he gives a buy signal before reversing course....

Trump.

Trump is an idiot (fact). trump has declared bankrupcies 6 times (fact). trump still doesn't understad how tarriffs work (fact). HOWEVER, trump rates people on how the stock market performs under their leadership - he's attempted to blame the current issues in the US economy on Biden (????????) - He's also skewing the figures to make it look like everything is OK from a macro-economic perspective - BUT, whilst he's dumb he doesn't want to be associated with a stock market crash - so he will continually pull back when the stock market shows signs of rebellion against his (stupid) economic policies. It'll never be a smooth ride with trump but he won't want to be seen as the man who tanked the stock market. Unfortunately that means we have to put up with a fair bit of noise... until it all comes crashing down when the full reality of just how unbelievably stupid his economic policies are is realised (if he manages to get rid of Jerome Powell things will get nasty quickly)

RE: "Had to get the “Willy shaking” in there eh" - my point was funds are OK but they're a bit "safe" - which equates to slow / steady growth over a long period of time. What I did was somewhat reckless but thankfully fruitful - wasn't really trying to brag and I apologise if that's how it came across.

My SIPP used to be carefully invested in a multitude of funds. The growth was steady. About 2 years ago I sold the lot and invested everything into RR - I've gone from having an embarrassingly small pension to a SIPP I can actually retire on. Thank you RR.

Timing the market seems so easy until you try and do it yourself. :-)
