Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Thanks Rheinmetal (now there's a share I wish I'd jumped on a month ago....). It feels like I'm a bit late to the party with this one - I managed to get into Vistry a few weeks ago and they look like they have some really good potential (if you don't know too much about them watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W60Cmy3tbU&t=52s - It's an hour and a half long but gives a real in depth expose of what Vistry do). I may dip my toe in with BGEO - but am wary of catching this one a bit too late....
I've been in touch with Adam Patinkin (he gives his emal address at the end of the video and I thought it would be rude not to :-)) - He's a thoroughly nice chap who most definitely knows his onions.
I'm only in this because of you Svend (and because of a video Paul posted which explained Vistry's cunning plan to dominate the affordable housing market :-)) - A very nice rise! Onwards and upwards.....
Thanks RamDerby - I meant turbine blade.... I'm not an engineer - just an enthusiastic follower of RR who occaisionally attempts to understand some of the more technical aspects.... and gets his language wrong :-)
I thought the time on the wing improvements were months / years away.... Someone explained to me what they are doing last night - Quite a revolutionary step change in the manufacturing process of the fan blades - If I understood it right they are now manufactturingg two halves and bonding them together which will allow them to create better air passages through the fan blade which in turn willl allow the fan blade to last longer (in broad laymans terms). I hope these improvements in time on the wing are sufficient to complete an order with Emirates.....
Depends what you did with the money. If you put it into something that's going up even quicker there should be no regrets. If you had to sell to buy a car / pay off the mortgage / pay for a holiday there should be no regrets. If you reinvested in a company that's turned out to be a dog there will be regrets..... I sold a small sliver of RR and re-invested in other companies as I felt hideously over-exposed... some have done well whilst others are meandering. I've actually reversed course and now sold some of the shares I bought instead of RR and ploughed it back into RR..... I'm a little bit fickle at times.... :-)
Slow and steady...Milestones seem to be dropping like flies... Retirment's 380 - gone, 390 (which retirment suggested was laughable just 3 days ago (not including the weekend...))... gone, £4 which retirment again has suggested is ridiculous... is slowly but surely being approached. I want rtirment to come out and say 450 by mid April is impossible as I'm really keen on it hitting 450 by mid April :-)
Thanks Svend.
I contacted someone with far more knowledge on Vistry than myself and they said the following:
" I do not expect any fireworks. Hoping to see FY24 guidance of at least $420M pre-tax profit (i.e., at least $500M Operating Profit) and an announcement of the next tranche of the share buyback program, along with some positive commentary regarding market conditions."
Anyone got anything to add to this?
What are your expectations?? Do results have to be bombastic to boost the SP?
Exactly Svend - so a chartists can tell me the charts are suggesting steady going in an upward trend peaking at £4.76 with resistance at X etc, etc and I can add on my "meteors" in the form of SMR / buybacks etc etc and between us we come up with £7+ :-)
I'm not a chartist - never have been and probably never will be. That doesn't mean I don't respect people who use charts to predict price movements - some of the people I respect the most are chartists - HOWEVER - How does a chart factor in what isn't there yet? Surely a chart can only deliver on the facts as they stand today - What the £7+ brigade believe is that there will be news within the next 12 months that will boost the chart predictions - SMR / dividend / BBB rating / Narrow body movement / Emirates order etc, etc, etc. I don't see how a chart can factor these things into a predictive price when they haven't happened yet?? - Or am I the stupidest person in tthe room and need to reach for the dunce's hat??
