A new broker target is issued today at 34p +, a very significant rise from the current special. In the same note the broker speculates on an sp over £1 if current high vanadium prices stick.

Now anyone with an ounce of common sense would celebrate the positives, as I was about to do. Predictably though a certain faction decide once again to subject that broker to ridicule, thereby undermining their credibility. Who needs trolls eh? We can do a better job ourselves.

Nick no surprise then that today ARC raised broker target to 36p

On HL was 23.275 / 23.5 but now gone to NT again on ask

Just got a quote of 23.3p to buy on HL and already gone back to NT for £80

I agree LUCAN that a quick resolution is desirable.

However a good deal is only a good deal if both parties a happy with it. That takes time to negotiate. These guys need to get back to work and let management and unions sort out a deal to allow workers to benefit from the success of the company.

Vaux that is not entirely correct. The March RNS was very specific about the 3 uses of the $22.2 million raised:

$6.3 million - Redeem Atlas bond (subsequently confirmed as completed.)
$9.0 million - simplify corporate structure ie Sojitz (confirmed today as completed.)
$5.6 million - support expansion plans including resources at Vametco and Brits (we have subsequently had feedback from drilling programmes etc at Vametco and Brits.)

There is $1.3 million unaccounted for (contingency, fees, etc ?). Thus a significant proportion of this $20 million must be from profits. That is the information in the public domain unless we are told otherwise.

It is very clear from this that FM is using these funds for exactly the purposes outlined above. Once again delivering on his promises.

Compare that to another share I am in where the CEO is paid $1.5 million a year but the company has constantly failed to deliver. Fortune seems rather good value!!

Good to see the analysts reacting. ARC have gone for it with a target of 36p.

I think perhaps that SP Angel are wise to be cautious and I expect they are waiting for the end of the disruption. Perhaps also want to see how productivity improvements are going once plant is up and running.

I have also topped up at 7.8p and 8.06p. Managed to reduce average significantly.

And of course most of current market is steel industry so Vandium producers massively benefitting from rising vanadium price. And that includes BMN

Dryland the placing was £20 million. Of that £6.4 million ($9 million) was earmarked for this acquisition. Presumably the remaking cash used for this deal was indeed from profits.

"I would not be surprised to see buying tomorrow and a rise in the sp. That would certainly be what I would expect as a response from the very well informed shareholders in BMN."

Haha. Well it seems this morning that those well informed shareholders in BMN are now even better informed!
