Brightonpier I appreciate the motive behind your 21.26 post and commend your peacekeeping role. My response is as follows.

In my opinion one of the posters that you mentioned failed to show me the basic level of respect that we are all entitled to and declined invitations to to make good the damage. Therefore that poster is permanently filtered. End of story.

As for Knuttie it is true that we occasionally have a difference of opinion but that is all. If either of us crosses the line apologies are offered and we move on. That is fine with me.

On a personal note I am enjoying my retirement and unfortunately the only negativity that I have experienced in recent months has come from the BMN bb, so I decided to significantly reduce my participation on this bb. You may call that throwing toys out of the pram - fair enough. I prefer to think of it as making a rational and considered decision to improve my quality of life.

Today I would not have posted anything had Knuttie not mentioned my name and drawn a wrong conclusion about my silence. For the record in recent weeks I have commented on the acquisition of the Sojitz 15% (very exciting news), more timely RNS releases (suggesting an improved PR) and the ending of the strike (much relief). I have not posted anything since last Friday, so no comment on the H1 results, the rising price of vanadium, sp reaching 30p, this morning's troll or SP Angel /John Meyer. I am not keeping my head down about JM - I was simply not posting about anything! In fact I haven't yet read the latest SP Angel piece as I have been sailing all day and out to dinner tonight. I do not apologise for having fun and enjoying life! And when I have caught up with today's news I doubt very much that I will comment on it whatever my opinion.

I remain as strongly committed as ever to the BMN story and the CEO has my full support. How often I wish to contribute to discussions on all things BMN I can't say.

I hope that clarifies a few things should anyone be interested.

Kevkan stayed in Yarmouth last night. Nice area to live in. Would be good to meet one day. End of my season mid October so likely have to be next year. If I return there in next couple of weeks will post in advance on here with possible meet.

Kept the boat above the bridge from 2003 to 2007. Happy days but long journey from mainland.

The way BMN is performing I would imagine many here will be buying the boat or other toys of their dreams. Good luck to all of you. Been a long wait for some of us but surely worth it.

However having spent 4 1/2 years defending Fortune and BMN from all sorts of nonsense I think it's fair to say that my work is done as they are doing an excellent job themselves. I have no desire to be the target of comments on this bb so best stay in the background.

Knuttie for your information I am having a great time sailing. I am most certainly not "keeping my head down" as you so provocatively put it. I just have much better things to do with my time in this glorious weather than childishly provoke fellow shareholders.

This is not the first time recently that you have mentioned my name. I have done nothing to provoke you so please refrain from needlessly referencing me.

I am loving the good news coming from BMN and the steady rise in the share price. However since FBs needless comments directed at me some weeks ago I no longer take pleasure in being part of this "community" and have chosen not to post very often. Comments like yours have to an extent spoilt the pleasure I get from this bb and have confirmed that I do not wish to be so active as a contributor.

Yes some wanted updates but frankly a resolution to the strike was far too important to risk saying things to the market that potential could raise the temperature. And this excellent deal was certainly worth the wait.

So full marks from me for the timely PR.

I am pleased to read that:

a) the ESOPS agreement for the period 2013 to 2017 is valid and recognised.

b) the new payment is for H1 2018 on same basis as previous ESOPS payment. Not an extra payment for the period prior to 2018.

c) a second new payment on same basis to be paid for H2 2018 after release of financials.

d) new ESOPS being negotiated for 2019 and beyond.

Sounds like a sustainable and fair agreement for all stakeholders, including shareholders. Just what I wanted.

Now let's see the back of the seller and an interesting market response to interims next week.

Whilst train spotting is a lovely hobby for some (haha very tongue in cheek!!!) I am more interested in this rumour about the workers returning to work.

Can anyone add anything to this story?

If this rumour that strike is over is true and is confirmed by RNS today or first thing Monday, then as people digest this over the weekend , Monday am could be rather busy. And of course the final run towards interims.
