Yesterday I wrote this as part of a longer post. Seems highly relevant today.

Lucky you are behaving like a petulant child. By your own admission you are only here for retaliation concerning someone posing in your other place . Pathetic. Try acting like an adult and stop embarrassing yourself. Everyone here knows your motive. Question ... do you really want to start a bb war of words? Are you so stupid as to think there are any winners in such ridiculous behaviour?

Matlot I am sure you didn’t intend your thread title to sound patronising, but I think mine is far more appropriate given all that the company has achieved.

Apart from the one visiting idiot who seems to be Far away with the fairies it has been a pleasure to read such positive sentiments on the bb.

These daily few % points rises are perfect as far as I am concerned, giving time for the traders jumping ship to be replaced by other investors at ever increasing levels. A sustainable rise is just what we need.

One observation I have is that some here are quick to moan when the sp dips and happy again when it rises. My advice ... focus on the company not the share price. I have always had confidence that Fortune will deliver so no need to be negative.

I have been very sceptical about the various conspiracy theories that have been expressed on the bb and it now very much looks like is was simply a case of a large institutional seller offloading and the subsequent drop in sp. This is of course very good news as now we know the cause of the fall (nothing to do with BMN performance), investor confidence seems to have returned and there is a sense of excitement about the share price. Whether GS has finished does not matter ... people know the selling is coming to an end and judging by the volume of buys there are a lot of folks who want a slice of this action .... and why wouldn’t they!

Had yet another top up on opening at 13.5p. Now looks like a well timed purchase. It grieved me to have to sell a few guitars to increase my BMN holding but at this rate I will be able to afford all the guitars I want.... and soon (blatant ramp ... sorry. Ramblings of an old man haha)

Anyway enjoy the journey up.

I have being trying to buy through HL for 25 minutes and can’t get a quote.

Like you Alfa I see buying opportunity. Bought more already this week and selling some of my treasured guitars to raise more funds.

Bassguy of course I respect your right to voice an opinion. I simply question its accuracy. Many would agree that BMN’s PR at times is poor. I wouldn’t argue with that. However is PR the driver of real long term value in a share price? I certainly hope not!

So as far as ‘self inflicted’ is concerned .... are you sure?

Let’s analyse that.

From high sp at end of 2018 we saw a significant retrace following nearly 2 years of sp growth (well done BMN in 2017 and 2018). That retrace was solely caused by a very sharp and significant drop in global V price. Fact. Definitely not self inflicted and way beyond the control of BMN. What mustn’t be forgotten is the genius displayed by the BoD in using the profits from 2017 and 2018 to invest in the production side of the business.

Now through the second half of 2019 into 2020 the sp was relatively stable at around 20p to 25p reflecting perhaps more stability in the V price. Again beyond the control of the company.

Then Covid19 and the impact globally on stock markets. Absolutely NOT self inflicted sp drop!!!

Ok so why no sp recovery as with many other companies? Enter (or should I say exit!) GS. Couldn’t have timed it better could they? An institutional seller impacting on the sp. certainly not self inflicted.

So every major constraint on the share price over the last couple of years has been beyond the control of the company, yet in the background they continue to build production, forge links, cut costs and generally promote VRFBs.

Now if you think a bit more PR and better communications would have had more than a minor impact on the share price long term I honestly think you are deluding yourself. Real shareholder value is underpinned by a sound and profitable business and that is what they are delivering.

The sp has been driven by strong external headwaters that no doubt the company are doing their very best to deal with. We should be giving them our full support.

My guess is that when the seller finishes and the sp rises yours and other complaints will suddenly disappear as the value of your investment rises. And I will share that relief!!

Bassguy I have to strongly disagree with your conclusion.

Surely you have noticed that we appear to have a major institutional seller (GS) that for several months now have been offloading with the inevitable impact on the share price. If as some here suspect they are not long from coming to the end I and others expect a significant bounce in the sp. has all this completely passed you by?

I know you have a tendency to focus on the negatives but surely this is a time to help build sentiment as we move into what could be quite an exciting time for the sp.

All just my opinion of course.

Bassguy people keep saying the market doesn’t get it. I say wrong. I say we have a large seller. I say that has depressed the sp.

I say wait until that finishes to see how the market judges BMN by share price. You might be rather surprised and that may not be long now.

Bassguy to some extent that is missing the point. At this sp we are worth less than our asset value. The market has assigned zero value to to BE. Therefore it seems to me that BE offers tremendous future value. I simply don’t understand this focus on negatives when the positive future seems to be staring us in the face

A reminder:

Mikhial’s views on how BMN / Bushveld Energy make money from VRFBs through vertical integration. Quite fascinating. From interview on 11.11.19 and perhaps now coming to fruition. Remember this is exactly what FM / MN have been planning for:

MN "In some ways we aren't in direct control. Let's take an example of a project like our minigrid. There we are the developers so we get a development fee when that project closes. We are an investor so we get the return in equity or dividends from the power purchase agreement that is signed to pay for the energy that minigrid produces. By the way we are supplying a battery too so if we want to we charge a mark up on somebody else's battery. If we are invested in that company we get an additional benefit because our investment has now appreciated in value because that company has now got more deployments. We are supplying electrolyte so we get a fee for manufacturing the electrolyte into that project. We mined the vanadium so now we've got a sale on the vanadium. This integration allows us really to capture the value sometimes 4 or 6 different activities on just one single project. I don't know who is getting 6 ways to make money on one project. To some there might be only 2 or 3. But in either case it's more than just vanadium and that's what integration allows us to do."

DL Are you going to fill the bb with your “guess next week’s share price to suit DL buying agenda” stuff for the next week? Please don’t.

Another top up for me. Never thought 10.69p would be possible but just too good to miss.

I have been following the discussion about GS possibly being the seller and possible timelines for completion with a sense of excitement. If they are the seller then it seems to me that not many other shares are being sold yet there have been plenty of buys, even with the static sp.

My excitement is due to wondering what rerate may happen to the sp once this seller is gone, which may be relatively soon, especially if that triggers a raft of buying by those on the sideline.

For anyone subscribing to the GS selling speculation now must appear to be a cracking time to consider buying.

The whole sector is doing well except BMN, one of the most efficiently run and pro-active companies. I know logic rarely applies on AIM but just every so often the inevitable actually happens!

Big IF but if there is substantial truth to the GS theory ....the next month or so could start to get very interesting.

Lots of speculation true ... but maybe, just maybe !

James I don’t want get into a discussion about what “blatantly ramping” even means or about timelines involving supporting BMN and selling shares. As I said I don’t consider that my business. However if the person you are referring to is who I think it is, then I believe they still hold quite a chunk of BMN shares. To me that indicates a positive attitude towards BMN, even if legitimately exploiting investment opportunities elsewhere at the same time.

That poster regularly reminded people of the positives of BMN and as far as I am concerned I would welcome anyone that shares my positive opinion of BMN, especially if they are investing and helping support the share price.

Amazing how you haven’t even noticed the growing confidence on the bb with regard to understanding the sp and the likely recovery in the not too distant future. I share that opinion and have been buying a few more.

Rather than attack the contributors to this bb I thank them all for their research, both now and in the past, and their varying opinions about all things BMN. Of course some will change their investment strategies when events such as Covid19 strike and they may have done very well out of it. I congratulate them. But that is their business and nothing to do with you so stop banging on about it.

I chose to stick with BMN as in my opinion they are managing the Covid crisis very well and continue to deliver production, sales and their expansion plans. The future for the company looks very exciting. But that is my investment strategy and nothing to do with anyone else.

And for what it is worth none of us could foresee the Covid19 crisis before the event and its huge global impact. Without that no doubt the sp would quite possibly have been somewhere north of today’s price and some of those you refer to would still be here. Perhaps you would be scratching around for some other perceived issue to be harping on about.

When those contributors were posting so positively about BMN I have no doubt they fully supported the company and as BMN continue to make progress it is very likely that they still see a bright future here. Perhaps their profits (if realised) from elsewhere will return to BMN shares, which can only be good for the share price. However it is frankly childish to expect experienced investors not to change their strategy in the light of major macroeconomic events triggered by Covid19. I say well done them ... come back soon.

Thank you Sharesahoy for the kind thought. Doing ok. More Chemo all day yesterday, but going for “honeymoon” in Padstow today (avoiding just about everyone else of course!).

Could I also add a sentiment of my own. I haven’t been able to focus on BMN as much as I would like in recent months and my contributions have been more restricted to troll bashing..... sometimes a necessary evil! I am very very grateful to the numerous contributors who have brought their research and positive conclusions to the bb, particularly whilst the sp has been so depressed. You have all helped to give me strength to believe in this investment at a time when staying positive has become such a challenge for me.
