RE: Bushveld Energy Relaunch ?31 Jan 2021 18:36
Bushmaster I don’t comment much these days as my 2 year battle with cancer has understandably occupied much of my thoughts. However I try to read the bb as often as I can and this evening logged on to catch up with the last couple of days of discussion.
I was enjoying reading this particular thread until your interventions “lit the fuse”! And I have to say that I am not surprised that your careless wording provoked adverse comment. I am going to refer to just one example from this morning as follows:
“If from 24p to 18p, and by the looks of it 16p, if that is not tanking what is, the SP is performing badly,”
Putting aside the provocative term “tanking” I have a real issue with what you left out. You need to consult the share price chart for the past two months or so. In mid/late November the sp was around 12p whereas it finished this week at 18.375. Now I know nothing about your education but I think most here could work out that is a rise over the period of around 50% !!! Yet you describe the share price as ‘performing badly’ ???? Sure there has been what to me looks like a very suspicious partial retrace following the rapid rise (hardly unusual on this broken AIM platform), but to describe the SP as ‘performing badly’ is highly misleading and certainly needed challenging. Misinformation of that kind must be called out.
If someone has predicted 16p I take that with a large pinch of salt as no pi on AIM has the ability to reliably know what any future sp will be. I have no idea what will happen to the sp over coming days and weeks but I would not be surprised to see another rise shortly, particularly if backed by good news of the sort we are hoping for soon.
I appreciate that you may have found yourself backed into a corner and felt the need to come out fighting and I have no doubt you are a very tough individual, though why you think it necessary to prove your independence on this bb I have no idea. However your aggressive response to Alfacomp and others was not justified as it was your own careless comments that sparked the response in the first place.
If you continue to make out of context comments like the one quoted above it is hardly surprising that some are suspicious of your motives. Assuming you are a decent person and a genuine investor then more care over your language could avoid a repetition of today’s spat with some long-standing and respected posters.
All just my opinion and I have no intention of passing further comment on this rather unnecessary debate.
I am however looking forward to the coming months which have the potential to be very exciting for BMN shareholders.
