Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Silverfoil,
Think congratulations is in order to Sareum on achieving this milestone, albeit, the multi ascending dosage continues and not sure sanity will ever reign on this bb, but at least there now is some "meat on the bone" for SP to negotiate further/alternative funding!
As Pascal would say a step in the right direction!
GLA
Thanks SOG (Poor WHU at the weekend)
Just having some supper with friends, one of whom showed me link below - be nice if Sareum could tap in to some of it,
" ...... new vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics, .......... to their development"
https://www.bioindustry.org/news-listing/new-100-million-engineering-biology-fund.html
Anyway, back to supper!!
GLA
@ Blastoid7 concur with your thoughts, very bewildering as to why this was the only option!
@ THEPUMA - surprised a posting of yours this evening has disappeared as very poignant to tonight's bb discussions, whilst I acknowledge I didn't agree with your approach as a shorter. you called it right - more importantly you stated in the "lost" post the need for SP and subsequently the BoD to seek and concentrate on further funding, a point I totally agree with. I'm hoping that successful phase 1a along with some update on SRA737 opens other doors and provides funds to terminate this arrangement with RF and we can move forward on Sareum's potential
@ Warthog, thanks for heads up regarding IR and given this evening's dialogue on the bb, I've decided to withhold sending my post - purely on the basis my points are of little consequence to the main concerns here. If anybody wants to use my post feel free and apologies if you feel I've back tracked - I haven't, I personally would rather the BoD focussed totally on resolving the current predicament.
@Leggster, I share your optimism, but, perhaps not enjoying the current medication.
GLA
Hi Andy
Yep not too bad thanks, trust all good with you.
Didn't expect today's response to what were just my musings last night and never seen the phrase "for clarity" used so many times on a bb, some of which didn't clarify only confused me!
Anyway, given the number who have acknowledged and/or responded I will send my posting tomorrow to Sareum BoD and IR for hopefully some form of response - I'm not looking for change of personnel (they already have spoken of succession plan discussions), I'm just looking for better communications and how they envisage better shareholder value going forward.
We can't change what's happened, but the promise from the AGM was better comms and I'm not seeing 2 months in.
@ All thank you for your acknowledgements and responses, hopefully, Sareum will tweet something to the good and shut me up!!
GLA
Dear Stephen and Tim
Having met you both, I believe between you, you BOTH have a responsibility to deliver the above as per the Sareum strategy to investors.
I sit here tonight, nearly two months since the AGM, having to read the gloating of a shorter of your last financial "deal" despite you "believing" it to be the best option (with no explanation why?), a sp that has dropped over 60% since that "deal", a bizarre RNS stating SRA737 has been relicensed to an ^unknown", ongoing trials of our lead compound in Australia with no updates of where we are, talk of private investors wanting personnel change and not an iota of direction from either of you.
One for the PR Departments, remember we spoke at the AGM - How did JP Morgan Healthcare meet go, any views on Saudi Arabia proposed investment in bio techs?
Tim, I was astounded at the AGM when I questioned the lack of confirmation that the data received back from Sierra regarding SRA737 was as stated by them, you "didn't believe necessary to make known", albeit, you waxed lyrical at the '22 AGM how you would go through it in fine detail on it's return!
Stephen, you stated at the AGM "we take onboard your comments at the lack of communication".
Enough said, I know you read the bb - leave with you to restore some confidence in my belief of the business acumen of Sareum please.
GLA
So, simple question are the BoD going to respond to shareholders in a diligent manner as per their proclaimed statement.
A copy of this posting will be sent to IR@sareum.com during the course of next week, to which, I trust I get a reasoned response.
Hi potnak
Given the current pathway being taken and the aim to license out 1801, my understanding would then to be getting 1802
into clinic - I'm not sure Tim and John would have the appetite to work on someone else's compound and even be able to raise the funding needed, especially as you state a potential low upfront payment against 1801 - be interested if you have any further view on such, cheers.
GLA
Hi Damion interesting thoughts and I would add a topic not often spoke on the bb - "succession plan".
At the '22 AGM is was part of the formal Q&A and confirmed by the BoD it had been discussed, again post '23 AGM it was an informal discussion among some and SP and stated it still was part of the Company discussions - now whilst there's no detail of who, when and/or how, it suggests to me that there is a target for either Tim or John and/or both and I presume 9p (old money) hadn't reached it - conjecture? yes I know, so please read above for what it is!
GLA
As always SOG a good reasoned post, and thanks for sharing your thoughts.
A fellow attendee at the AGM sent me the link for REDX RNS this morning, worth reading and shows what can be achieved in the small bio market sector with the right molecule and management/marketing of the science, investment and value - let's hope Sareum can follow!
Had a passing conversation with RMM3383 at the AGM, would be good to hear his thoughts as well regarding current status.
GLA
Obviously, disappointed as any investor watching this slide in what appears to be no reason.
The BoD must see this and as an attendee at the AGM I'm surprised at the lack of comment from them even if to headline the trials are progressing well in Oz given the pledge to better comms!
I don't think as suggested money for the MHRA trial was the problem for not granting as that was in place and Manchester lost a £4m trial courtesy of MHRA and Sareum I believe wasted around £1.7m in not going with Manchester and then setting up in Oz (the speed of which has to be commended).
The trials are now at the crucial stage, lets hope all good and my positive will hopeful negotiations from either US, China or even Saudi sources - even better if ongoing and just waiting completion of data collection.
Some will say above is just waffle, so be it, but we all choose to invest in Sareum for it to be scientifically where it is right.
GLA
Good to see you posting stranger, albeit, can understand you reclusive stance, getting that way for me to, that said hope you and family well.
As usual, a measured posting from your goodself.
@ Lazurus2, likewise a sound post.
@ Potnak, personally I'd rather John Reader was at any negotiating table when discussing our compounds!!
GLA
Hi Gunner
Interestingly, part of the conversation I had with Hassan at the AGM was regarding funding and one of the areas he mentioned was Saudi Arabia - only a snippet I know, but given the holding he oversees worth mentioning, step by step
Have a good weekend all and @ AugustDestiny, could be a very good moniker!!
GLA
Some decent postings over the last couple of days.
After patiently attending the AGM and following the SRA737 RNS, I'm none the wiser of where we are at the moment - given the various snippets I picked up from the meeting, I continue to be optimistic but go back to the step by step analogy and await the next news.
@ SOG I didn't realise home was just across the border in Suffolk, plenty of breweries for a decent pint for when hopefully we can celebrate Sareum - presume Sizewell is a vocation hub?
GLA
Thanks for your thoughts earlier, as usual all pretty concise - after attending the AGM, just hoping we would see a more proactive approach in 2024 - as the missus said still 11 months to go!
Are you back down this way now?
@ Gunner apologies I didn't respond to your weekend posts, visiting family - you made a couple of good points especially length of question time at AGM.
Anyway, all the best from yes a frustrated lth, but, certainly, not cracking as someone may have suggested in their post!
