Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Just for clarity, my posting wasn't geared at any one particular poster, more a concern of bickering on a bb for "last word Lil" than worrying about who "indicated and what" to TM from MHRA, what made SP tweet yesterday what he did - perhaps none of you are invested and don't care - I do hence why I will be at AGM, rather than count "recco's" of any bb poster from either side I have not even met - for the record I have met Sareum BoD!!
GLA
Probably the best thread of the day, but, unfortunately totally lost in a day of delirious self esteem by many from both sides ------ get the impression many are more concerned have they had the last say, rather than professional debate!
Happy to discuss at AGM if you're attending.
GLA
Gunner hope you are well, there's many a question to be asked including your own below.
For me, that's done we can't change it, I more interested in the ambiguity of the last RNS - too much grey woolly stuff that has lead to the decline in sp .....
- "The MHRA has indicated" - how? casual call, email - what was the reasoning behind the indication?
- "Yet to receive Formal letter of Non Acceptance" - did they indicate one was on it's way?
- "seeking additional clarification from MHRA" - have the BoD a timeline on this given the regulations controlling a CTA
- " Tim is surprised and disappointed" - what was his surprise and disappointment, something must have been stated.
All the above have a missing bit, that I am very uncomfortable with given the loyalty of all shareholders in this Company and the BoD's lack of communication, I really can't believe theRE has been no progress on any of the above no matter how small in over 5 weeks.....
Given the terse response by our new Head of IR to another bb poster when querying an update and advising there is an AGM you can attend, I intend to and ask all the above which to me are straightforward courteous queries that we should have answers for - apologies for rant!
GLA
Is anybody intending to go to the above on Friday, my intention is to attend and would be good to know of others off of this bb that are - the previous one I attended, we all introduced ourselves afterwards which misses the opportunity of being a collective (if we have similar views/questions) in a room of relative strangers.
No worries if people don't wish to declare, I have my own list of questions which hopefully I can ask.
GLA
Appreciate your posts and note the constant negativity towards Sareum since you came onboard the bb at around the same time as Peel Hunt were appointed, coincidental no doubt - but just a simple question, what made you invest in Sareum given your ambiguous slant on them - of course I am assuming you are invested and apologies if that is a mistake on my part.
GLA
Hi Jules fine thanks and trust likewise with yourself.
If I'm honest I would like to think that Tim, John and Co show some courtesy to us pi's whether lth and/or newbies following AGILE etc.. and clarify the current status at the earliest.
There is a lot of "noise" on the bb at the moment, and I believe a lot of that could have been avoided with clear statements from the BoD, krone raised a valid comment with our new head of IR unannounced by way of example.
I still believe SAR has an exceptional potential pipeline, but given the last 12 months, I like to now hear with clarity how they intend to deliver and at the same time deliver shareholder value which is part of their governance.
As advised by one bb poster I maybe wasting my time, just email I think he stated, I'd rather look at Tim and ask the above.
@ Andy fully understand, but, yes hopefully see you there.
GLA
... people put their energy into discussing points rather than this constant "bickering".
As a lth I can't believe how this bb has turned into the mire it is today, yes, I am disgruntled as anyone of the last 12/15 months regarding where the sp is, BoD/PH etc performance but surely we should collectively be seeking betterment from the BoD not this incessant immature squabbling on here, otherwise, the AGM will come and go and not a dickey bird said!!!
So how about no more c.womble calling, no more £40 sp's, Groverlad starts explaining how he saw 17p (old money) as a sell out price and lets get a positive bb, which in turn may help to get a positive sp back - meanwhile, hopefully TM, JR and SP get the act back on track.
GLA
Warthog4 trust you are well - in answer to your comment, my take is they are still registered as Directors of the Board at Companies House and and such have a personal liability for breach of fiduciary duties, so I would think fair to say all Principles of Corporate Governance apply to them as well.
GLA
Yes, many thanks Krone - obviously written and printed before current scenario.
@ Aber - I think you could question a lot of the Corporate Governance Principles - I daren't post Principle 10 regarding Communication to Stakeholders and Shareholders - that said I would rather that they concentrate their efforts at this moment in time on getting the CTA in order and progressing than dealing with current gripes of bb, that can come later!
GLA
Morning Blastoid7 - yes it does, along with posting history which was over 2000 since Nov 2020 - seemed a concentrated effort to antagonise the bb - saw what I believe to be his last posting last night with apology to SOG over AGM matter.
As I said earlier, hopefully, more constructive discussion going forward!
GLA
J4Fun as I mentioned earlier a good discussion point missed on the bb - can't think why!!
That said, like Potnak I prefer SOG's take for obvious reasons, but, given the RNS there is much ambiguity that needs clarifying sooner rather than later.
GLA
Hi Citizen
Reasoned post and likewise tired of the childish spats that have changed this bb, first time ever I have decided to use the filter button.
A good discussion point for the bb should have been the ambiguity of Tim's wording in the RNS ..... both SOG and J4F have put separate and possibly opposing slants on this with posts containing cut and paste facts (not drivel as some seem to deem this type of information), but, as you state gets lost in the playground noise and any debate eroded.
As I have stated before, at this present time the most important thing imho is Tim's announcement on the CTA, hopefully, it will be positive and robust in it's declaration - for me the AGM can wait if it means getting Sareum and it's development back on the straight and narrow.
Likewise, intend to make AGM.
