Not sure why sentiment has suddenly changed on this stock - I see no big fundamental changes here.

For me the overriding reason to remain long here (and I'll admit I am long at these levels, not higher) is the insider buying. When that non-exec ploughed £500,000 into shares it was with his insider hat on. unless this exec is a billionaire 0.5m is 0.5m in anyone's money.

So until I see some fundamental change, I will remain confident in the company.

I'm looking forward to the announcement this month that this product is launched in Germany. Not sure how they intend to market this, assuming it's an OTC product, but it could have amazing sales if it's as good as they think.

The thing to realise here is the rights are paying for asset that then immediately goes onto the books. It's fully underwritten, which tells you about the confidence of the financial institutions.
Given that I don't think there's a better case for a dip in SP - BUT a lot depends on investor sentiment and what's happening in the market...

Not true, only 2/7 valued at 140p (29%)

in fact if you calculate 2/7 @140p + 5/7 @240p (SP when they priced the RI) then the natural new SP should be around 211p.

That's probably why it hasn't fallen out of bed.

That was a good day:

Interesting, currently 20 @21p.
This rally might fizzle out back to mid-teens, as we've seen many times before, OR with some positive sentiment momentum it could test multi-year highs @28p.

Once again the MM is taking the Michael with the spread.

The trading statement was better than I had anticipated. Revenues and cash position were better, given how 2020 ended, than I thought they'd be.

2021 looks like an exciting year for the company !

I don't expect much from the trading statement, so wouldn't be surprised if there's a pullback after that. The real excitement for AGY lies in what it progresses this year through product development.

I read somewhere they expect existing cuts to be extended to March 2021, thereafter a gradual increase.

So the Chinese have picked up another few million shares.

It's interesting, just about 82% of the shares are held by 4 big shareholders. SO if this thing ever gains traction and attracts positive market sentiment it's not beyond imagination to see them pick up very quickly.

I know that's a lot of ifs and whens....

Yes it's bizarre - can't get my head around it. Maybe agreed off market sales/buys being crossed?
