I really don't expect much from the Stockbox interview. And I think the, almost, inevitable outcome will be a slight sell off - simply because cannot offer any new news only provide comfort on what is already out there.

I don't hang much on these YouTube type interviews - they all are pretty easy going and what I would describe as 'Hello' magazine lovely lovely types.

@JTB - in fairness he did rank GGP at 4 (1 being highest, 10 being lowest) but had no comments on it.

The AIM comment is very interesting - I didn't hear it, or forgot it - but yes I too always remembering him being anti-AIM, or at least pretty derogatory about it.

@Happyhaddock - indeed it's unusual for him not to have an opinion - he generally pontificates on just about everything, lol.

I remember thinking bizarre too. ECR struck me as exactly the sort of company he likes to buy into.

That's interesting - when I sent Risk Rule my portfolio to analyse - at the beginning of April - he had no rating on ECR and no opinion.

Frankly, I kind of wish he wasn't doing that interview. For some, very vocal, people no matter what he says will be taken and reviewed in the most vitriolic way, resulting in another sell-off largely enabled by a group of big investors I now suspect of loading up big time on cheap stock.

I would urge some moderation in the language surrounding CB, some of the comments could be interpreted as defamatory and no amount of bizarre pseudonyms will save you from identification.
Let's try to remain professional. I understand the need to blow off steam but some comments are simply going too far.

@JSMith - I'm just a contrarian, lol.

@Lazarus 2 - I grew up in big oil and exploration - so I don't get phased by initial dry holes - it's a about building up a picture, increasing probabilities and making informed calculated decisions. I'm not worried about silence (though I'm not really interpreting it as silence, when there's news we're told).

everything still to play for here I'm not writing off the whole company on the basis of a few holes, that have provided much needed data for the model.
as someone pointed out look at cash balance to market cap - that's a bet I'll take....

I've sold off 75% of my GGP holding today and moved it here.

If it does fall to 1.73p I'll liquidate the final 25%

You do realise you're invested in an EXPLORATION company (currently), it's not a Producer (yet). It is not a sure thing.

The geology is what it is.

sorry but there are board members here who seem to have a very simplistic view and sometimes just hard to separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak.

@theyknowit all - not great grades I didn't say that - but they will have so much more information at a much quicker pace to rapidly improve the probability of a discovery.

BUT at the end of the day the geology is the geology.

PLUS

once we have our own Lab up and running can you imagine how quickly we can process that data and hone our exploration effort - it will be almost exponential

for me we have MORE DATA

Inputting that into their model it will tell them the likelihood of where there is a better chance of finding gold and better chance of not finding gold

More data in the right intelligent hands - here a good geologist - should increase your chances of finding what you're looking for.
EVEN if that means abandoning this sector for the moment and concentrating on a sector where we think there is a higher probability of discovery.

So I am positive.

You have to ask yourself - does this data increase or decrease the probability of ECR finding a commercially viable gold deposit.

Early drill holes provide data - I would never expect a big strike on early exploration

Lots of cash, ramping up drilling, great prospects, going forward, more data now is a win for me. I don't see the fundamentals have changed, but we have more information.

So same fundamentals as before but the price is lower - added.

Of course others can quite legitimately read it differently.
