It looks like there's only one other miner beating that in the world, compare to Kenmare that has been discussed here, about $10 tonne. BSE look like they're about $13 tonne.

@JTB I hear you, and yes I agree CHF would appear to be a 'quality' play, though not yet proven. I wouldn't necessarily rank a company's future performance by their broker, but I would factor in higher broker fees for the bigger names, doesn't necessarily mean the company will perform any better. And just because management have good presentation styles doesn't change the geology.
Sentiment is such a strong driver of share price in this exploration sector and if you catch that you can almost do much better than something with proven assets. Case in point another holding of mine CMET is real class but it hasn't yet got the sentiment backing it - though I expect that'll change pretty soon.

I agree, drift in SP is panicking people, going in to a long weekend may also accelerate decisions, wouldn't be surprised to see it recover early next week even with no news.

@JTB - if you like copper, take a look at BZT - specifically at their Mankayan project in the Philippines- it's back in play, JORC completed (Copper, Gold & Silver - low Tier 1), current JV terminated so they'll be back in the market looking for a partner.
Also Philippines has just become a lot friendlier to miners having just ended a 9 year moratorium on mineral agreements.

I was thinking about the locations of the activity here: Wicklow/Wexford border and Donegal. They are areas of outstanding natural beauty and I can envisage many objections from civilians when it comes to obtaining a mining licence - if it ever comes to that.
Something to consider into the risk analysis.

Hopefully, BZT will strike a much better deal this time (time number 3) for the Mankayan Project not just because of the current prices for copper, gold & silver, compared to when they did the deal last, but because the Philippines has suddenly (about two weeks ago) become a much friendlier place for mining - lifted a 9 year moratorium on mineral agreements.

SO that was 3 years ago - hence my post today that actually the deal with the Singapore outfit falling apart to develop this is potentially VERY GOOD news. BZT can do a deal now at TODAY's & TOMMOROW's copper prices.

As a low TIER ONE identified untapped copper asset this is why I'm buying now.

All the other current activities you guy are talking about here is icing (albeit a lot of icing) on the cake.

I don't think CMET is as convoluted though from feasibility to Start-up - MF has stated we are basically in preproduction, no big complicated development project here and he foresees production in about a year - of course I'm assuming maximum assistance from Sri Lanka Government depts.
SO we could progress through the timeline quicker than the average.

I agree. I think things will happen pretty quickly once the Government depts have done their thing. We know potential customers have already been sent product samples and are suitably impressed.

It feels like a coiled spring. I have been building up a position over the last week but with so much stock in long term safe hands it's been a tortious procedure.

So for me with the announcement of the Termination of Transaction Agreement with MMIH may be a short term blow, even though I think it was largely priced in, but it does now reopen the door for a much better agreement for BZT given the generally acknowledged wisdom the role copper is going to play in the low carbon world of tomorrow.

The asset is a low Tier Copper asset and as such, with reasonably few new defined copper plays available like this on the planet, I cannot imagine that CB hasn't already received expressions of interest.

Given today's and tomorrow's price of copper this is good.

And that's without all the other stuff going on...

Wondering if there'll be any impact tomorrow as nearly 91m extra shares hit the market. Guessing we've seen most of it already, he said hopefully.

I don't think I've heard any other company use covid so much as an excuse for doing so little for so long...

The only thing with this is JT is a GREAT front man, I mean I love the rascal he got me into stock trading when I was only 18yrs.

I did raise an eyebrow at his anticipated timelines for news flow and quick turnarounds. We know from other companies investors in this sector will punish you hard for silence and more unanticipated silence.

I think it's early days here. JT is a bit of a marmite individual, but I've always loved his enthusiasm which is infectious.
