I must confess I'm surprised not to see more money moving into this stock.
With current events, I see this as a very good long term play, offering a reasonable dividend and what I percieve as growth potetential in the years ahead.
The only cloud on the horizon is the increased cost of equipment, labour etc. when constructing new sites, and debt.
But overall I see this as a solid play.

That could become a long list, ADM, DLG, PHNX, ULVR and VOD to name a few.
The ship will however eventually right itself, but I'm being very cautious at the moment with stocks exposed to a lot of debt.

I would also suspect PLUS is benifitting from account activity in these volatile markets.

If true there are people on this BB that are investing substantial capital in KOD.
I have only 52000 shares which I bought purely because I think this has potential, and it makes it easy for me to monitor the stock and not miss any RNS. When I see what I require I will invest properly.
Don't get me wrong I am very keen on this stock, I only purchase a small amount when I move the stock from my general watch list to a stock which I believe I will be investing in at some point in the near future. I have some 20 stocks on my general watch list but only two invested with small sums as potential near term investments, and this is one of those.

Its holding up well in this unstable market.

I'm glad the market like it, with a small drop in the SP, I'd hate to see what happens when they don't like it.

Thank you for your reply, I hadn't seen that, however it still dosent make sense to me.
The reason I make a mountain from this mole hill concerns the rules regarding cancellation of dividends, and this muddies the waters somewhat.
Now I'm not suggesting for one moment that I think this is likley, but an interim dividend may be cancelled right up to the payment date, a final dividend must be paid after the XD date.
This could effect my investment decisions. For example I might decide to buy following XD on any fall in the SP that I rightly or wrongly attributed to this event.
Regarding their statement regarding past practice, they have in recent years paid an interim dividend and a final dividend, with any bonus payment being special dividends. If anything this is a deviation from past practice.
I don't believe there is anything untoward, I just don't understand it, and I am not keen on things I don't understand when it comes to my investments.

I had a quick scan of the results and they look ok overall.
I was confused by the statement regarding a second interim dividend og 12.2p p/s. I was under the impression that the next dividend was a final dividend, which I expected to be around 12.3p p/s, and paid around 28th April.
I would normally expect an additional dividend to be a 'special' dividend, I must be missing something as I find the wording of the statement in this respect a little confusing.
It may seem a small thing callind it an interim dividend, but the rules regarding payment between an interim and final dividend can (I'm not suggesting they will) have very different outcomes.

Fool by name and nature it would seem.
I quote (in part) 'All of its operations are located in Russia.'
It wouldn't take a lot of effort to find that simple statement incorrect.
I find the Fool entertaining and at times an interesting read, but it is so often littered with poor research.

Its a good time for the company to make the most of its buybacks.

I agree. Inflation will impact all stocks to a degree, but most people need insurance, and premiums are likley to increase along with its peers.

I would add that at todays lows its hard to imagine it not providing a profit over the medium/long term.

I would agree that maybe the stock is not what it was, but the markets in general are having a tough time at the moment and its a little harsh to lay all the blame at the door of ULVR.

Its just being dragged down like a lot of stocks at the moment. I don't see anything negative that changes a reason to hold this stock, the SP means little unless sold.
The dividend is tidy and well covered.

Its holding fairly steady considering, I'm glad to hold this type of stock in my portfolio in times like these.

Good price at the moment as I am confident it will return to a normal range in due course.

Yes this stock has lots of potential, however that is all it is at the moment.
I do have high hopes for this one though.

This is certainly doing the heavy lifting in my portfolio today.
