I do like the gegraphical spread of GLO and its range of assets. With hindsight I should have been a bit more patient and waited to pick this up around £1.80 instead of my current average (including tax etc.) £1.867.
I like the look of this stock so now have to decide if its worth trying to exit above £1.869 and buy back at a lower point, average down, or just wait for the trading range to rise naturally as I think it will in time.
Recent highs on the 21st, and 22nd of this month appear to make it feasable, and recent lows (excluding this week) over the past few months make an entry around £1.80 look possible.

I understand why some investors might decide to jump out in anticipation of increased claims, and sometimes that may work out well.
For myself I find it simpler to just hold with a long term view and ride out the troughs, since peaks will surely follow.
I've never been much good at timing the market, I just don't have the knack.

Nevada and Arizona are well sited to afford easy acccess to local solar energy to support operations.
I must admit to being quite bullish on this stock, and as things develope will probably increase my small holding to more substantial levels, it will certainly be a candidate to find a home for my dividends as they roll in from other stocks.

I think there will be a lot of countries reviewing their dependance on resources outside their direct control.
It will be interesting to see how rising energy prices will effect extraction feasibility studies, although rising commodity prices should offset this I would imagine.

I think this will remain towards the top of its 52 week range for the foreseeable future.
I don't think you will see this sub £6 now, but if you can pick it up below that I think you should be fine in the medium term, if not beyond.
For those more patient and willing to wait an unpredictable length of time, should there be a market crash, I still think sub 530p is bargain territory, and at the moment it seems anything is possible.

Back into recent closing range of 410p tp 449p, a little sooner than I expected.
It may hang in the lower half of this range for the moment, but only to be expected, and it remains a good solid investment.

AAF back into normal range as expected. I would add more but its already a little over 6% of my portfolio, so will probably add to LGEN, SSE, or BP. first.

I think there are other suppliers of steel.
While I'm sure this is a good stock to hold long term, there is going to be a lot of short term pain before things get better.
It may hold, I doubt it will rise in the near term, and I suspect it has further to fall.
If you are invested its most likly a bad idea to panic sell, I don't think you will go far wrong as a medium/long term buy. My view is there is time to think it out before missing the boat, and I am happy to wait before buying, but of course I may miss out.

I fear the may hold true for the unfortunate Ukrainians.
For the rest of us normal service will be resumed presently.
And for that I realise how fortunate I am.

While todays rise is nice to see in a market showing this downturn today, its tainted with the bitter taste of Ukraines suffering.

Its hard to call, but if I remove emotion, and rely on reason, I simply ask myself 2 questions, why did I invest in this stock and has anything changed within that company.
I can only answer for myself and your circumstances may differ, but for me to sell now would be foolish at best.
These events have happened before, and sadly will again, but history indicates that most well run companies will go on to do well, and the stock price will return to normal levels.
My portfolio is down nearly £10k today, but in 6/12 months hopefully it will just be an unpleasant memory, if only the unfortunate people of Ukraine could say the same.

Hells teeth, I should keep my big mouth shut, I've lost nearly £1400 on the value of this stock today, but I am fortunate that overall I'm still in the black, just. And its just a paper loss unless I sell.
I've only sold 1 stock today (at a very small profit), but not because I thought that stock had changed, just because another 2 stocks hit bargain prices and will offer a better medium to long term return on my investment.

I'm sure many are worried, but remember, the stocks you invested in have not changed, if they were a good company yesterday, they are just as good today. History shows that if the company is well run and drops are caused by external forces, they will rise again. Its an uncomfortable feeling, but only sell if you think the company has changed for the worse.

I got out this morning with a very small profit, this stock will certainly go up again and I still hope to buy back later, but I have identified another stock which will reward me better in both the medium and long term, so reallocated funds.
For those nursing a loss at the moment, its not pleasant, but this will come good, and you shouldn't have long to wait to see it back in the high 40's/low 50s.

I was in the red before today, so decided to average down a little by adding 1065 @ £6.0620.
My average all in is now £6.4927 so still red but a little better.
It may well go lower, I've never been good at timing the bottom, but I know a good buy when I see one, and this will go up again in due course. Meanwhile I'll just take the divi.

Just added 3299 @ £2.059. It may well go lower but I think its a good price, and I couldn't resist.

Just block her, I haven't because her rants dont bother or influence me. BP. was a good investment when I bought and remains so today. If it falls much lower I'll invest another £13k.
I can't see a conflict of this scale in Europe lasting 12 months, it will either come to a conclusion or escalate out of control. If it escalates to the world stage then I won't care about money, I'll just be interested in surviving.

I may add more, but not rushing in yet. If it hits 46.58 the decision will made for me as thats my origional price. For me little has changed around my initial investment decision so it remains a buy at that price. I don't really expect it to drop that low but will wait and see.

I don't think I'm overstating things to say todays results were good, the dividend is good, and yet at the time of typing this the SP is down 1.8%.
I know this is absoluty nothing, but really, its jolly odd.
Maybe some selling before xdiv as they predict a fall greater than the value of the dividend. Not a path I would choose, and seems a little early.
I don't believe anyone should be bothered, I just find it curious.

I agree that not getting into aquisition of further mines by paying top dollar is a shrewd move by the BOD.
We are fortunate with this BOD, long may they reign.

Good to see it continue to trickle up again so far today.
