pompey_leo,
if MCRO is making up 50% of your total portfolio it's far too much to have invested in one company. In my limited experience I would have a maximum of 20% in any one investment. I wouldn't worry about what the FTSE is doing next week or even next month, once the vaccine is available the markets will fly. MCRO should be held for the longterm so you can enjoy the divi when it's reinstated which will also push the SP higher.
The INVESTEC broker rating is a joke, I can only assume that they either have a short position or they are trying to stop the SP climb so they can buy in on the cheap.
No way MCRO should be valued under 600p
good luck
Not Bad, it's terrible. No company would enter into a CVA unless they had no choice in order to avoid creditors making them bankrupt. Cine will permanently close some UK cinemas which will massively reduce revenues and profit potential.
Yeah good call.....LOL
Feel free, I'll keep holding
Typical AML, massive drop as soon as the SP good levels thanks to the nob head daytraders
I can't even believe that's a serious question. PE of 1.168 says it all
Yes I agree MCRO has been hugely oversold. We had excellent news at the start of September when MCRO paid off £175m of debt and an extension to revolving credit facility to 2024 and still the SP dropped from 290 to 207. That news alone should have started a recovery.
Great to see Gladstone getting burnt. I believe they have been the main force driving down the SP over the past few months
I bought MCRO last year at 1100. Over the past few months I averaged down to 289 but when the SP hit sub 220 I was so tempted to sell just to get some money out of what seemed a sink ship. So pleased I held in here. grossly undervalued company.
SP has been in a bullish pattern since the 28th Oct, things are looking great. I see the SP multi bagging from here
Excellent trading update, just what we needed.
Great to see a recovery in the SP. Staff should be worth several times the current SP
I took part in the placing and subsequently sold a couple of months ago todays news recaptured my interest in the huge potential here so I have just bought back in with a speculative purchase this morning
Clowns deramping again.
The supreme court has yet to hear the case and it could go either way. If insurers lose it could have a combined cost of 1.2b but that is split across numerous insurers. a few tens of millions is nothing to a company the size of Aviva
Normal service resumed, still we're up 5% from where we started the week. Would be nice to finish above 220
Surely Aviva is a better target than RSA even when taking into account that an offer on a like for like basis would cost approximately 4.5 times more, Aviva are generating 4.5 x Revs and 8 x Profits.......Surely a better investment?
Aviva Revenue: 31,243.00
Aviva Profit: 3,933.00
RSA Revenue: 7,461.00
RSA profit: 492.00
