Jed,
Why do you pretend to be invested, I as everyone else can see straight through your your constant scaremongering and games
One has to wonder if Jefferies is in cahoots with one of the bidders, how else can they possible justify the crap they came out with yesterday claiming that AA is virtually worthless........Sure there is 2.7b of debt but this company has generated nearly £1b in revenues and gross profits of £250m for the past few years. Plenty of listed companies have large amounts of debt, all that's important is that after paying the interest they are left with good profits.
I just wanted to thank those who have become impatient and sold, you have bought down the SP and allowed me to Top up.......Thank s
nomlungu, you didn't bother to research ARW properly, sell out with a small profit and then post utter nonsense to try and scare others into selling........What a clown......jog on
If you'd researched the company it would be clear that ARW in are a perfect position to captialise on the pandemic/recession and that the SP should multiple bag by 200-400% in the near future
@watkins2008,
It is likely that the SP will hover between 36-39p until an offer is announced. If you bought at 38p I wouldn't be selling in the hope of buying marginally cheaper. Even if you managed to buy at 36p which be some going by the time you factor in commission and stamp duty your actual holding will be at 37p (approx), is it worth the hassle and risk to possibly get an extra 2.7%?
Bloody Day traders or MM look to be holding the SP back
Yes seems same as yesterday, drop in the more before return to 38+ in afternoon. Perfect for a top-up
Beyond the cash position and £2.6b of fund management, I think the most important but maybe overlooked part of todays result is:
"With €1.1 billion of discretionary undeployed fund management capital, we are extremely well placed to be a leading investor in this huge market with increasingly attractive returns"
ARW are in a very good position to capitalise.
Agreed, results are better than expected and the recession should bring ARW even more opportunities to grow.
I would hate to not be invested or sell out early and miss the boat. With 4 interested parties (3 officially and one speculative) We could get at least one offer at any time that could send the SP surging.
I still think an opening bid of 50p is in the right ball park and hopefully we will see it increase from there..........Would be lovely to see BoBetts 450p come true but we live in reality LOL
Pete640,
You're on the wrong forum, better sod off to AVDFN with ramping crap like that.
There most be some news this week, don't the interested parties have to declare their positions even if it's merely to get an extension?
Zahirmia,
We went through all this yesterday. Asktrader is a Website who do trading in CFD's, it's in their interest to start BS rumours and by stating its a "rumour" they don't need to provide any evidence. There have been takeover conspiracies spread on AVDFN for months and months............
If there is going to be a genuine takeover we will hear about either through the real media such as Financial Times or Sky news and it will be supported with an RNS from either the offerer or offeree.
I am invested but unlike you I don't ramp, I tell it how it is not go around telling everyone to buy based on a rumour with no evidence. That's not being negative, it's being neutral
Leave it out with the ramping.
It will rise when some confidence inspiring news is released
Try to warn and get called a shorter or de-ramper LOL
Seems most PI's have completed missed ARW and the huge potential here. Great FY results and in a perfect position to capitalise on the recession. Plenty of upside and hopefully a return to 300p in the coming months
They don't mean anything for us nor will they affect the Share price. Just parties declaring their share holding etc to conform to the Takeover code.
