Just walked 200 yds to the local shop...people having street parties, groups of kids riding around on bikes.
What chance to we have of beating this? if immunity does not last at least a couple of years we are in serious trouble.

100% correct....if you do actually LEARN from it, so many make the same mistakes over and over again.
Best advice i will give is take no advice from anyone....that way when it all goes wrong you can only blame yourself.

Well i only joined in on here on monday, must say its been a very crazy entertaining week...
Still trying to work it all out and possible scenarios (reasons) for the week.
A while back i sold a decent sized holding in another share and the price i was given was way above the mid...it of course appeared as a buy, and of course no one believed me when i said it was a sell.. So from experience i know not to take the trades at shown status.
The TR1 today...
Last known holding 5.9% on 1st May...Todays notification of 6.04%, thats an increase of 0.14% or 555,800 shares. hardly enough to influence the sp.
However @ 5.9% holding he has available 0.9% of holding (3,573,000) to trade without notification + he set the downward trend with the 1% sell off from 7.9% to 6.9% the previous week.
Has he been trading the 0.9% this week...would that account for the drop.
Then the sells stop today and buying reverses the trend.
The 500k and 571k (going off memory here) i thought were sells....
Thats only an opinion and i thought only seconds apart and the same trade.
Now whats the chances of another TR1 mon/tues saying hes gone below 6%?
Is there any law that says he cannot?

Looking at the delayed trades from the 1st May....i agree they do look like buys.
However always bear in mind the MMS will play with investors minds.
NO ONE can say 100%.
I always look at it this way,,,,if there was a large seller...would they actually advertise the fact, does that not in fact make finding buyers that little more difficult. Always be wary...it is not always what it seems.
BUT heres hoping it is a buy!!

After several tries at buying i went NT at 12.21...order filled at 12.43 just for 2k worth...@8.48.
Suggest large buy order being filled.

You mean the large after hour, Off book sells that were showing as buys!!
The ones that were getting everyone excited...follow the money , all over twitter!
Lesson for folk...try and understand the market...all is not always what it seems.
MMs needed to find buyers for these sells...
showing them as a sell at end of day...not going to encourage buying is it!

so even though the info i posted was dated 1/05/20 it is obviously incorrect.
Just trying to figure out the possible causes for the last few weeks trading....fairly obvious it was the late reported trades.
Whether buys or sells if they have finished i think we will surge ahead. I like to learn about the market, how it works...stops me getting jittery.

if this info is correct of major holders why can i not find a TR1, even at 5% there should be a notification.
Am i take it these figures are not correct?

Interesting (to me at least) that the large share trades started with the Rns (4.15pm) on the 15th and appear to have ended with the recent RNS 27TH.
Often been remarked that its been held in a range to accommodate these trades.
i remarked they look like sells but where were they coming from?
Above list of holders that are likely to use off book trades.
So hopefully if it was a seller, they are now out.
Maybe time for the rise that is warranted?

Haven't seen any large late reported trades now for 2 days after a couple of weeks constant.
Friday after hours tv mention just coincidental I suppose.

Some opportunities are also safer than others. Depends on your level of investment. I would not put the amount I have in here in any of the other covid shares.
