Despite the disparaging remarks by Causal of Citigroup, they were in fact correct in downgrading this share which this morning has fallen around 4% due to loss of premiums. Although some analysts have a poor reputation in forecasting future performance, Citigroup's forecasts are usually good and despite causal's advice , are worth "listening" to. For what it is worth, DLG have taken a big hit and I believe it will take some time to recover

causal - thank you for your advice. However I was not "listening" to Citigroup, I was simply stating why I thought the DLG sp was dropping. May I give you a piece of advice which is in future, to think carefully before criticising someone else's point of view

CHEQUEMATE - many thanks for your answer to my question. However, I now think the drop in the sp may be due to the fact that it appears that on 25 April Citigroup downgraded DLG with a target price of 370p. This is lower than many other analysts. However, the first quarter trading results are due to be issued on 2 May and these should indicate if Citigroup's forecast is correct or not.

It may be a bargain but, despite the market rise, sellers outnumber buyers and the sp keeps falling.

The share may recover in time but markets are volatile at present. Are you planning to sell today - ex-div day?

You are not the only one! Very strange that despite a large divi next week, the sp fails to respond. Perhaps the mms know something we don't.

I am a long-term holder of FUM but I am puzzled and a trifle concerned at the number of sells today and the sp dropping nearly 5%. Are these sales due to holders losing faith or is there some other darker explanation?

Not necessarily - the sp is going down because some holders are selling because they fear a poor report.

The only thing that's happening is the sp is falling which is not at all nice when many of us want it to go up!

"Just a volatile stock, bounces all over" is just about right for this share which, since the announcement of a 37% increase in half-year profits 5 days ago, has dropped 11.6%, due no doubt, to the issue of 220,000 new shares. Patience is indeed required to get back to �10.

Not a good update with no explanation of the reason for the drop in performance.

A PDMR notice dated 20 September 2017 gives Volcan Investments "security" over 33,400,024 (12.36%) of Vedanta shares. What does this mean?

The "breakout" seems to have stalled rather quickly with a 3% plus drop in the sp today. Rather strange that the share closed at 260p yesterday and opened at 254p this morning and has since lost ground. Due to a bid rumour perhaps?

Hope you are right but this share has consistently disappointed and it is difficult to see any change coming. I think it was Warren Buffett who said "Buy when there is blood on the streets" so perhaps now is the time to get in.
