Could be due to lack of court decision on the VAS issue and also to delay in the Board issuing a development/investment plan which was promised in the Annual report. When this comes out, I think the sp could go to 60p.
Nickel_ Investor - You paint a rosy and no doubt accurate picture of RPT's cash position but it is puzzling to note that despite a profitable future, over the past four or five days, sellers have exceeded buyers. There could be numerous reasons for this but I wonder if it is mainly due to impatience with the Board for failing to issue an investment plan for using the cash and also to the lack of a court decision on VAS?
Last year's interim report was issued on 21 September so we may get this year's report around that date.
The reason why we have not heard anything recently is usually because there is nothing of significance to report. Investing equities requires patience - sometimes a great deal.
Straycat - whilst we would all welcome a big fat bid for RPT, surely no bid is likely to materialise until the Ukraine court Order suspending production in the VAS field is lifted?
Has a date for fy results been announced?
rocker1 - As far as I know, no date has yet been issued for announcing this year's results. Last year they were announced on 3 April 2018 but this doesn't mean we get them tomorrow.
FCF???
Presumably, the company will be challenging the suspension order in the Ukrainian courts but there is no information about this on the company website. Does anyone have any inside info on this?
The market is not impressed with today's full-year results, due I think to a 5% reduction in operating profit and a cut in last year's special dividend. However, a total final dividend this year of 22.3p is not to be sneezed at.
Last year they were announced on 3 April.
I am now sitting on a 52% loss with PDL - with its massive debt, it will take years (if ever) to recover.
One of my worst investments - due to my failure to appreciate how poorly managed this company ihas been. Let us hope that the new CEO does better.
It may be fine and dandy for a large institution like LO to "balance" their portfolio by selling off a few hundred thousand shares every now and again, but it is very unsettling for smallholder PIs like me trying to decide whether to hold or to sell. So far I have held and not sold, realising that being so timid has cost me some useful profits. Does anyone have a solution to my dilemma? .
