Eighteen, would you share a simulation of your model please

I tried on the existing volatility 113 max 108 taking the stamp duty and the transaction cost both sides.... it doesn't make any sense for less than 1% even at large amounts. What do I miss ?

Have a look to GSK, AZN boards they had been a technical and emotional support then the stocks plummeted 25%. Reuters seem to propagate only the bad news, many of these boards posted links we found from medical journals, investment and financial analysis, debates about reasons of the movements especially the price/ volume divergence. Without the wealth of knowledge and positive approach on those boards I would have sold too early.

I am grateful to some of the LSE boards; there are many genuine people who enjoy a good robust debate rather than snapping sarcasm.

I asked where is the shortes business case to drag the price down on such a low volume and volatility. It seems to be a disproportionate use of energy and funds for very little gain while other targets could be much more profitable. I can only assume that you don't have a meaningful answer.

I put into a model the volatility vs volume transaction which is disproportionately lower than the perceived variance. At its best it is just 2% gross taking off the stamp duty is nothing.

I don't get the shorters business case on MTRO, there are better stocks, which are overvalued with high propensity to drop and enough media attention to stay in the spot light and get up again to be shorted.

What is is I miss on MTRO that I can't see a rational business case unless someone tries to take it over for nothing?

Gerry557 there is "no best" a there are so many variables you don't know about or market circumstances that day that you will never know what the best way is.

I had been only half invested in AZN you claim you are in MTRO and understand the fury when a stock is traded below its value through collusion.

Well if I understand right you try to use TW against negative propaganda; if you would have confirmed that this is the case we could have helped to bust the profile as per your above statements.

IMO (as I worked for very large corporates as per incidents of non-compliance I saw the answer to your question "Old CEO of Metro Bank has disappeared off everything... I wonder why? Not on LinkedIn, not in the media, nothing... Why?" is that the old CEO was fully aware of the non-compliance and he was paid off to disappear to save as much of the bank whatever it is left. Any FCA ruling will be less stringent if Dan would say "we cleaned up by cutting from the head"
IMO he was given the carrot and the stick of risk of criminal charges - he took the carrot and disappeared. I take it as a good move.

I see on MTRO the same as I experienced on AZN an GSK a couple of months ago, a restless attack of manipulation, 20% forced drop.

Yesterday from 471 transactions 7% had been manipulating = 1 -3 shares dragging systematically the price and the spread down. ON AZN and GSK I constantly topped up as I was very confident but on MTRO I am more hesitant. So IMO we are stuck until a crystalliser come along.

The way I look at is more the price comes down more attractive would be as an acquisition.

IMO those 1-3 share transactions are to inflict panic and made people sell at a loss. the AZN & GSK boards are amazingly supportive and knowledgeable communities, once hen I went in panic and want to sell a fellow investor said " close your computer and don't open it for a week" I was grateful to his advice and I may use it n MTRO as well.

well well well Phildon, I understand your frustration and if we look into the time perspective we may observe some very interesting similarities.

TR64 seems to have stopped his trolling on this board with antivax anti GSK clutter of this board; it may be that he was cautioned again by LS as in the past.

However, I spotted a paragraph in Ttonko posts which is almost a carbon copy of TR's "I was buying them for the current price a decade ago and whilst the div has been nice, I would also have expected the SP to keeppace with inflation as an absolute minimum," More than that I checked the history of his posts and the antivax theme is persistent as well.

I will keep a close eye if these 2 themes will develop into a compulsive obsessive manner and if it will be the case than TR is back from his ashes.

Surely the price increase today is not solely due to this contract :)
