It wouldn't surprise me if the company had started to take market soundings for a fundraise and those in the know have started selling so they can buy back in a placing. There's plenty of work being planned and Bill did mention the possibility of a placing in his last interview

I know that but it increases the risk and uncertainty of investing in projects in Sri Lanka and hence make it more difficult for companies to raise money for projects in the country. It is known as jurisdiction risk

The acquisition cost makes NTOG look very cheap as it has licences in the same area of Texas and is cashflow positive and just started a drilling campaign which should see a very large increase in production
