Bullfrog, I always thought that drilling in November meant the end of November (30th), so effectively beginning of December, which is usually when drills have taken place. So I guess the delay is really only 3 months, Dec, Jan Feb, if they drilled on the 1st March. But it will probably be 31st March. By then though, whether it's the 1st or 31st March, it won't be long. Plenty of updates to come in the meantime from the advanced discussions with the TPDC.

Everything is getting squeezed on the chart for a breakout. Just need news or a whiff of news.

How much would someone have to pay to buy out Aminex's 25%? Fully funded to production and no debt. I can't beloieve it's the current Mcap.

I don't think APT were going to develop Ntorya for nothing. Aminex has 25% in a huge gas field, funded all the way to 140MMcft with no debt. Not many have that.

I'm sure all oil and gas companies would love to sell direct to the consumer but and maximise profit, but it's just not really possible when you are producing another countries resource, hence why there is a world oil price and that gas prices vary from one region to another.

ARA will want to keep operational costs as low as possible at Ntorya, so not operating the pipeline and selling gas at the wellhead is best. TPDC need to have an incentive in the project, such as building the pipeline and receiving a revenue from carrying the gas to the gas plant. ARA won't pay anything for the gas to be piped to the gas plant when the gas is sold at the wellhead. Those costs are paid further downstream by the consumers. ARA will want Opex costs as low as possible. If you look at Wentworth, their operational costs are $0.54/Mscf.

On the spend so far. This years seismic was budgeted at $23m, although the 3D seismic acquisition came in under this budget. Next year 2023 they have budgeted $30m spend. So roughly $50m to get to 60MMcft per day production. Pretty good going out of the $140m budget.

Aimster, so if they are looking for investors what does that mean?? It means they have a pipeline to carry gas to the gas plant and can charge a carrying fee to generate long term revenue. A great investment I would say..but then why would TPDC not keep and operate the pipeline themselves so they can earn the revenue from the pipeline. Maybe they will eh?

Personally, I think it's great that TPDC have committed to build the 30km pipeline, saving a shedload of the project spend which formed part of the $140m budget. It means that Aminex will be getting quite a bit of cash back. TPDC have committed to build the pipeline as soon as possible and we are now tying in NT1 & NT2w as part of early production some 12 months earlier than originally planned. This is down to TPDC building the pipeline. It's only 35km, that's less than the London marathon so won't take long to build. I presume it's a surface pipeline with a fenced corridor. Drilling in March is only a slight delay. I'd rather they got the rig they wanted and drill the well properly, so a 3-4 month delay is nothing.

Today's update just means there's a whole bunch of news to come, with a lot being worked on at an advanced stage.

The way I see it is, we have to wait a bit longer for the drill but the gas is coming 12 months sooner with NT1 & NT2 and CH-1 to be hooked up to the pipeline.

Borders drilled without a major. It's all down to the drilling contractor and engineers. Even majors subcontract this work out to the professional service providers.
