Jtan stop moaning & buy more this is double discount land! everything half price. today only; while stocks last!

amazing this is now looking like it'll probably hit the 120s again or lower still perhaps. I really didn't think i'd see NEX at these levels again. A good solid blue chip. Will keep buying on further drops. In a few years this will be a multi bag from this level!

yes could be a day to buy if this gets hit down big. This worm can turn very quickly & sharply on any decent contracts!

Not good, but no capital raise! see what happens. A further drop i imagine but this is not complete armageddon stuff!

Another capital raise just a year after a large fund raising would be a disaster i think. If the drop is not because of funding this should be a buy in the morning!

i would add that it's a disgrace if they do another placing. There was no indication in the updates they would need refinancing yet again!

CR, my own view here is there'll be a CR. I can't see what else would justify this huge drop. If there's no CR IMO the results have to be just completely diabolical to justify this SP. Thankfully i've held back from adding here after buying at 94 so i got a bit of powder waiting if this has all been overdone!

The shorters have already succeeded! They have dropped this by 40% in a month. This is where it should get interesting. The shorts have to cover their short at some stage. ALWAYS. The question is how much lower they can take this? There has been no news here other than CEO leaving. This is being priced for an outrageously poor update which tbh i haven't seen indicated in the last set of numbers. So either we've been fed a yarn by Iskander & this is going down the tube or the shorters have indeed stoked the fears of uncertainty to these levels. We'll find out soon enough!

Either a short squeeze or a bloodbath here in the morning. The update will have to be very poor to justify this in the 70s! If the update isn't as bad as clearly feared & no equity raise required this is time to load up on this!

Problem with the ISA is if you buy into a share which goes bad on you. You're kind of stuck with it. At least on a trading (non ISA) account you can offset the losses on dog shares against gains on the good performers!

Jtan, don't forget shares in an ISA go down in price too. Imagine you bought NEX in an ISA pre covid. your £20k is now about £6k!

My ISAs are filled with John Wood shares. Be nice to see that one rerate a bit!

The more i look into Hunt's budget stuff the more i see doom & gloom. Anyone with BTL properties will be getting out of that too which will screw the housing market more. Country is in a complete mess atm.

yea i'm talking outside the ISA though. ISA is only £20k per year. CGT allowance drops to £6k next year then £3k per year from 2024. 28% tax on any profits after that. Is it really worth the grief? yes though ISA is always a no brainer!

The whole stocks & shares game will become progressively less attractive from next financial year anyway. .All the CGT allowance being slashed. Was going through some numbers with my accountant this week. Not really worth the bother unless you're retired

17th & 18th March 2020 were fun days alright. It was like the world was ending. Some mad prices. I remember William Hill the bookies falling so low. I think it 20 bagged or something a while later on a takeover. Most of those extreme low prices were a bit of a fantasy in reality as you got no trade on most buy attempts!
