Been following this one for a while & nearly bought in on the last plunge into the 60s. The recent rise was a bit bizarre here IMO & now a profit warning RNS. Will jump in for a few sub 70 which i'd expect it to go to over the next few days. Seems to have held up quite well at the moment!

Pennies from Heaven if you have to cash to invest. I'm quite content for the shorters to drag the price down as much as they want. For a LTH it is a gift. Short sellers ALWAYS BUY BACK. Once they've exhausted the loss takers/panic sellers the trend will reverse. It happens all over the stock market!

I guess NEX not being able to run their Beijing/ Shanghai Express routes will have a serious impact on this years revenue!

Some complain about shorts. If it wasn't for the short sellers people wouldn't be able to buy at these stupidly low prices. Yes, it's a bit painful to watch for those who've bought at higher levels but i don't think there is anything to worry about here. The short positions look very opportunist here to me. I can't see anything but a decent update when it comes. For me it's just buy as much as possible. These prices won't be around forever!

Squid is not invested. He wished he'd bought sub 130. He's missed the boat. Many squids were saying Sdry was going to the wall while some of us lapped up the shares at 92-93p. Who's laughing now?? Squid will disappear from here soon when he realises his deramping attempts are futile. This NEX bb has always been a fairly constructive board unlike the CINE & BOO boards which are generally just juvenile squabbles. I actually have quite a large investment in BOO as well & have made a fair bit of dosh trading that one. It's a bit of a risky one but could give a multiple return over a long period. NEX is a nice safe haven! A certain double bubble here from this level for those who can afford to sit & wait a while!

'Government draws up plans!' This Government is a joke & none of the jokers could plan a drink up in a brewery. I see tonight they're proposing new anti union measures which will incite more strikes IMO. Noone is really interested anymore in this Government's 'plans' & noone will adhere to them. All Sunak can propose is further maths lessons. Totally ridiculous circus it really is! Nice to see this one back on the up & away from the lows!

People aren't interested in Covid BS anymore. Omicron blah, blah. All BS designed to make bedwetters lose money. People don't buy any of the nonsense anymore. Everyone should be back at work. If they confirm dividend reinstatement here as they've promised, this will be such a great little one to have a good holding in!

Usually an update each quarter at least. I'd expect an update some time in January!

This share will just do what happened with Halfords. Hammered down to 120s on absolutely nothing, then straight back up again over £2. I expect this one to be on the up again very soon. I never like to call a bottom price especially with a short presence but this seems to have levelled out now. I've got cash ready for any further drops anyway so no real concerns if it goes lower. I've absolute confidence that these prices will look like a steal in a couple of months!

Simply Wall St. What a pile of pants just like the Motley Fool rubbish. Just read the companies RNSs. No great shakes going on here other than a bargain SP!

Lots of nonsense being spouted here. Similar old drivel was being spouted over last few weeks on Superdry board while i was hungrily accumulating shares in the 90s there. Roll on a few days & that investment is 40% up now & all the nay sayers have crawled away! NEX's debt levels are no concern. This is an investment grade company & if refinancing were required it wouldn't be a big issue. This is just a super easy money maker at these SP levels. Just buy & forget them for a few years. Far better than the return you'll get from a bank account anyway!

The 30 year SP graph says it all for me. This is a classic cyclical stock. You see similar trends with housebuilders etc. Big falls during crises then steady slow multi year recovery. You need to have a strategy longer than a day, a week or a month. Best to look at this in terms of years really but it's a safe haven for cash at these prices IMO!

Yes, a 40p drop here in 3 weeks is wholly unjustified. When people are too scared to buy is actually the best time to buy. Just need to ignore the surrounding noise. This is a large multi national company. A well established brand in really quite a niche market with only a very small number of players The Fitch report posted on here is worth reading for those who are worried. This will bounce! In 2020 the bounce came at 112. I don't think it'll go that low this time but if so i'll be buying more. Early Xmas gift from Tellnorth this really is!

Pmehta, you are falling for the shorts psychological torture. What if it goes to 50p?; what if it goes bust? the debt is way too high!!! what if;; what if??? that is the shorter doing their job well. They want you to think twice & panic sell. I too now have built a pretty good holding here but i've been here before. Actually been here on many shares. Have faith in your investment. Many on this bb have bought in here at much higher prices than these. Should you buy if it drops more? that is your choice but i will continue buying on any further drops. This WILL bounce at some point!

Nellie, there is no logic to these markets. Best to just to try to suss out the nonsense as best you can. IMO most index stocks always come good in the end so if you get in at a battered down price unless there's an underlying issue you should do OK. I think NEX will come back very strongly in the NY. If the trading figures show no surprises today's price level will look bizarre. This has fallen steeply especially in the last few weeks. It'll fly back up just as quickly!

Just need to look at shares like OTB, Halfords, TCAP. Tonked down for nothing then doubly bubbly a few weeks later. My Sdry shares had a nice day today too. Watch that one sail off now!

& fundamentals always come good in the end! this is just being played down. will reverse at some point Screaming buy in my view at this level!

Net Assets are 1.4-1.5 bn so yes price to book is a bit silly!
